It's full retard to say that teams tied have the same record and, therefore, the same winning percentage? Huh?

I have figured it out.  You are my 14 year old son.  Go to bed Goddammit.  You have school in 8 hours.

Yes you dumsumbitch 5-1 is the same as 4-0 (isn't this guy into baseball or some shlt?)

Tutor gets re-hired tomorrow.  No phone, no internet.

Fine. If we are not ahead by any games or half games and we're not behind by any games or half games, what are we then? Please explain

one we are 2-0 in our division, falcons are 0-1 thus giving us the edge.

Two we had a bye meaning we didnt play but it doesnt count against us. So 4-1 is the same as 5-1 and if we are 8--2 and the falcons are 9-1 after their bye then they are ahead.

You can't be serious with that post.  Plus, we are not 4-1.  Even if we were, 5-1 is a half game ahead of 4-1.  Also, division record would only come into play if we split the games with the Falcons.  Basically, at this point we are tied with the Falcons.  Until we play them, none of the extra tie breaker rules really matter.

No none of this matters until after week 17. I get that we like to keep track but doing so is pointless. The NFL doesn't use "games back" because there are only 16 games.

But the math is the same. If the season were to end today is a click bait exercise. It means nothing.

Think of it this way. College football polls mean nothing until all the teams have played all the games. You have to go back as far as last year to the Baylor TCU argument to see it all means nothing until all the games are played.

Having said that, fug the Falcons and the Saints...and the Bucs for good measure.
