Could Cameron Artis Payne or maybe Wegher be a Freeman type RB or do we need to explore other options?

Freeman's success is more due to Shanahan than Freeman's talent. CAP hasn't really had an opportunity yet but I think he and Wegher are the future of our backfield.

I've watched NOTHING the last two weeks that make me fear the Falcons whatsoever. Even with the easiest schedule in the league, they're going to crap the bed against bad teams enough that we'll win the division.

This right here. Both Shanahans are known for creating dominate running games with their schemes. Freeman is a good back, but I highly doubt he would be having these types of games if he were here.
