There was ZERO mentions of Panthers or Carolina. I even did a keyword search for Panthers and Carolina for 0 result.

I really hope this team is enraged with the way they have been dismissed for far. I hope they tear Seattle new one come Sunday.

The Panthers don't yet belong with the teams the article was citing, so it's no surprise at all they weren't mentioned. It's about establishing a winning tradition and being able to contend year after year. Hopefully the Panthers will join the other successful organizations that don't crash and burn at regular intervals. Only time will tell.

The article lists points seen in the Panther's current mind set. The dedication to "next game focus", emphasis on teamwork, unselfish play, and harmonious locker room that fosters a winning effort. McGinest does a good job of listing all the traits of a consistently successful club. These I have seen in the coaching staff, as well as the GM. Gettleman having no problem with shedding those seen as disruptive in the locker room, and coaching staff in emphasizing the immediate goal, "the next game" and marginalizing the tendency to look too far ahead. Hopefully, this will bear fruit, as it has already, in my opinion.
