Rescuing Sisyphus: how the Panthers can finally defeat the Seahawks

Crossing patterns and highly accurate throws that are actually caught by the receivers.  Uphill battle for us, hoping for the best.

Cams running could be key in close contest, would not rely on a 350 yd day from our offense for the win.  Nice article, props.

We have enough receivers to apply this strategy. No matter how bad a receiver may be they still need to be covered. If anyone spent the time to read instead of jumping to make a remark about our receivers they would have picked up on that.

my son's peewee team has a high enough number of receivers to apply this strategy. Strategy won't matter if they don't catch the passes. And I wasn't belittling the strategy, just disagreeing with the idea that "our WRs are good enough/our OC is good enough/etc they just need to execute". Execution is a product of talent. If the WRs aren't talented enough they're not going to be able to execute. If the OC isn't talented enough, the offense won't be able to execute his bs game plan.

How about this? Instead of worrying about what our offense needs to do, let's worry about how our defense can figure out a way not to allow Wilson to have nearly a perfect QB Rating and for Seattle's offense not to convert 3rd down after 3rd down.

This team is built around our defense. They should be the absolute focus of this team.

If we wanted our offense to defeat a team like Seattle in the manner as GB or CINN-- we SHOULD HAVE INVESTED like GB or CINN did on offense.

Instead we drafted a LB and trading for DE Allen...

It's not like we drafted a wr in the first last year and traded up for another wr in the second this year and drafted an OT in the fourth and an rb in the fifth...
