Can we talk Ticket prices, scalpers and the ticket market?

Have you tried seat geek? It's my preferred site for tickets

This, Vividseats and of course the official Ticketexchange is what I use. I would never buy from a scalper on the street. Also, I made the experience that sometimes the Panthers release some Clubtix a few days before the game on Ticketmaster, for face of course. I saw this happen a couple of times. Maybe you get lucky with that.

Ok let me give away my secret. Craigslist Saturday night about 630-800 before the night before the game or Sunday about 7-8 am.  Plenty of people have ideas of making big bucks and over price their tickets. So there will be lots of tickets that people just want to get rid of and have no desire to go downtown Sunday to sell them.

this is what im thinking as well.  BUT I'm a bit too timid to wait that long, especially considering how special im trying to make this day.

I've bought tickets from scalpers at least 10 times.  I've paid as much as 120 each.   They have always been legit,  but never laid down that much cash.  Those guys all watch each other and it would fug them up royally if the word gets out that someone is selling bs tickets, that being said if you're dropping thatuch dough I could see how that could scare you.  I have also waited until just after the first snap and bought tickets at 1/4 face value but alas thw panthers are undefeated as it stands and tickets are in higher demand than those years.

Why do all scalpers outside BoA have signs that say "I need tickets" when they are clearly holding tickets they want to sell? Nobody has signs that say "Tickets for sale." I don't get it

Watch them. The signs say "I NEED TICKETS ?". They cover up the "I" or "?" with their left or right hand at different times.

Or try this-  http://charlotte.craigslist.org/tix/5268046128.html 2 Club Tix to sell or trade.

I want to get 2 Silver Club level tickets for the Packers game and I'd like to hear what experiences you guys have had using scalpers for Club seats?

Why scalpers you ask?  This ticket is the most expensive on our schedule so far this year.  On Stubhub and Ticket Exchange $700 (my budget for 2 tickets) won't buy 2 clubs.  Sure they're shady individuals but I've heard both good and bad experiences when dealing with these agents of the black market.  Are club tickets typically being peddled by these dudes?

For those who have and are paying attention to the market:  will club prices on ticket exchange drop the week leading up to the game?

Stubhub has two tickets in section 348 for $352.39 each(I think fee is included on stubhub, unlike ticket exchange, so that's the total). They are both seat 15, but in rows 8 and 9. That's about the closest you're going to get because, like you said, everything side by side starts around $400.

It's about $5 over budget, but you won't have to deal with fools on gameday. Good luck.

stubhub is actually the one that charges fees.  Ticket a Exchange is the service to use for no fees. Those tickets end up being 414 each after fees. Thanks for keeping an eye open though.

hows the weather in the area been? coming down next week for honeymoon and of course go to the snf game. also going to myrtle beach. any news??

This week has been very pleasent. Mid-70s during the day. Cooler at night, temperatures dropping to mid-50s, low-60s.

There has not been rain this week, however there was a period maybe two weeks ago where it rained for approximately six days straight. I do not expect that to happen again, as that was caused by an offshore system mixed with low pressure coming in from the southeast.

Just get there early, bring about 30 dollars in cash, wait until 15 minutes before the game starts and then try to get the best deal. You shouldn't need more than that for two good tickets.

and if for some reason this does not work out just walk a few blocks up to the bus station where 30 bucks will get you a good time for sure
