National Coverage

Starting to see our fan base grow, more and more kids wearing Cam and Olsen jerseys, this is a HUGE 3 game stretch for not only our team but the growth of our fan base! National attention is good whether some of the more close minded "herpty derp don't want no gosh darn bandwagon" posters want to admit it or not! Anyone who pulls for the Panthers, no matter how long they've been a fan, is cool with me a lifelong Panther fan!

National media after Panthers 28-10 win over Seattle: "The Panthers have yet to beat a team with more than 2 wins."

National media after Falcons 35-34 win over New Orleans (in a game with 7 turnovers): "The Falcons are the best team ever; they score points!"

I'm doing my part to grow the fan base by contributing  2 kids to this worthy cause.  My 4 year is hooked and loves Cam, my one year old growls on command whilst pointing to his 59 jersey.

Not going to lie, I'm pretty scared we're about to get skull-fuged by an angry Seahawks team that beats us every time we play them.

I don't see it....

I actually see us blowing them out (double digit win)

WE (The team) have a different attitude this year. And I think that translates to the field on Sunday. I don't think the Seahawks are the Seahawks of the last few years and I do think they just think they are going to show up and win....

Luke being back slammed the door on that.

24-10 Panthers....

We'll be 7-0 when we face the Packers.

Love the optimism, hope you're right.  Beating the Seahawks in Seattle is a statement win for a Superbowl contending team.  Losing would just be same-old Panthers

    • Agreed on the last part. They can’t afford to lose all these games with Martin and Perets.
    • Yes.  And this converts directly to confidence.  Does the coach have confidence to call a deep dig or seam route?  Does Bryce have confidence in his ability to be the Alpha?  Do his teammates have confidence.  About film--when I see Cam Newton's pre-snap confidence vs. Bryce's, it is night and day.   Film--tells you if the WRs are open (why l love watching the Replay telecasts from the end zone cameras--you can see it.  I have seen 2 WRs open and Bryce's eyes are on the outlet WR or the pass rush. )  You can see progressions, and he has improved a bit--but he is very quick to rush through 1 and 2 and checkdown--that is a lack of confidence in his ability to read the defense.  I had a former NFL TE (Deems Maye) who played QB in high school (not sure about college) tell me that the best QBs read the defense by knowing where everyone will be when the ball is to arrive--not where they are.  I think his QB at the time was Humphries.  He said that Humphries would throw the ball into coverage before the cuts etc.  because he understood DB momentum, zone areas, etc.  and he could just see it.  Said so when people say nobody was open, they are usually right because nobody should be "open" when the QB has the ball--when the ball arrives, everyone should be open.  He said Humphries was never "great" but his skills were limited--from a small school--but his ability to read a defense made him never give up on a route.
    • People here get mad when I tell them I prefer Miracle Whip over Dukes
