Eagles Work Out Runyan; Andrews Doesn't Practice

Here’s a curious – and troubling – coincidence.

The Eagles worked out free-agent tackle Jon Runyan on Thursday, and shortly thereafter, right tackle Shawn Andrews did not practice.

Andrews missed training camp after aggravating his healing back during a conditioning sprint but recently returned to practice and was on track to start at right tackle this Sunday against Carolina.

Especially as Winston Justice would be slotted to replace him.

Peppers could have his 20 sacks by game 1.

Pep lines up on the opposite side of the line 80% of the time. And I have seen him handled by worse anyway (to be fair I've seen him make quite a few great T's look silly).

anyone remember against the eagles in 2006 when they did a quick segment to illustrate how well runyan had been shutting peppers down and he was holding on every single play

the announcers just said "whelp"

Pep is held quite a bit. Not making excuses for him but I do see it a lot.
