His ego is too big for him to do that. He has complete control basically of an NFL team. 

Which may be more than he can handle.

He wouldn't be the first 'big ego' guy to opt for what he can spin as a better job rather than admit defeat. That path has already been paved by guys like Saban and Petrino.

If the Eagles losses start mounting, it's not hard to imagine Kelly opting for the kind of 'King of All I Survey' position USC could offer.

I could see them offering 7.5 a year for 5 years or more plus perks.

Plus his approach is better suited to the college level and he'd arguably have more control there.

Just think of the recruits he would get.  No disrespect to Oregon but a lot more great H.S. players would rather wear the USC colors then Duck colors.  IMO he won't last in the NFL.  His scheme style doesn't fit full grown men.  They cannot run up and down the field like those kids do.
