I'd need the source on this. Let's ignore the fact that win percentage is usually the same when teams are tied because of math. 

Are you serious?  The Panthers are .5 games behind the Falcons. Standings have worked the same for the last hundred years. I'm not going to do a basic Google search for you.

Once again, this is not college of the 70s, popularity does not count in the NFL.  You see, in the NFL, wins and losses are what counts.  Please hold your hormonal responses for the "my qb is better than your qb" discussions.
