Interesting comment from 49ers OC Geep Chryst repeated by Cris Collinsworth.

Chryst said that if the team gets into something like a 3rd and 14 situation, he "won't put Kaepernick in that position" of trying to make a play to convert it.

A statement like that tells me they absolutely do not trust Kaepernick to step up when the chips are down.
