Yeah no way Glenn is dead. Like someone else said, he'll find a way to slip underneath the dumpster or something. They left his "death" too open. I'm hoping an important character from the comics comes and helps Rick out.

I don't think Glenn is dead at all, especially considering he has been seen on set since these scenes were filmed.

I do think, however, that any way they sell us that he survived this is going to be total bullshit.

Overall it was a decent episode. I hope Rick goes crazy and chops his own hand off, but I doubt it happens. I don't know that they want to deal with the added CGI, and also I think Kirkman has been quoted as saying that that event was one of his biggest regrets from the comics.

The only thing I could even possibly begin to accept is a dream scenario, but even that is just really corny.

Glenn just casually slipping out away from the herd of zombies though would be one of the most absurd scenarios in television history.

Despite being pretty cliched, the thought of him slipping underneath the dumpster while the zombies are busy eating Nicolas isn't THAT improbable. I think he did that, shot off the flare gun he had, and managed to slip free. Rick will go looking for him with Michonne showing him the area they where in, and they'll find Nicolas half eaten corpse and who they will believe to have been Glenn. At some point in the ending of one of the next couple episodes Glenn will show up at Alexandria alive and that will be the closing part of the episode. Just my prediction.

yeah, next week's episode is 90 minutes. I am thinking we learn Glenn's fate in the last half hour.

Anyone notice in the trailer I believe Daryl being tied to a tree..I have a feeling this will be Darryl's last season..I think Negan will show his hand this season and Daryl will suffer the fate of Glenn's death in the comics..

Also, could Rick be the cure? Survives the zombie cut and becomes humanity's only hope..

lol if you think there is hope of people not turning once they die, or that there is a cure out there, then you haven't been paying attention...

My understanding from the comics and from the show is that this will be humanity's way of life forever.

Glenn would be pretty fortuitous to have fallen next to the only dumpster in the history of dumpsters that has 14" of ground clearance for him to slip underneath.

Well you know either way that they're gonna let that hang at LEAST one week... next week will probably be back at Alexandria and/or a flashback thing for Morgan...

I had a question... wtf was Daryl doing when he left the car and the horde?  Where was he going?  That didn't really make sense to me... and it also didn't make sense why they needed the car and the motorcycle to direct the horde... the zombies would follow either.  That whole setup was weird.

Pretty sure he was going back to Alexandria because Rick told him about the horn coming from there.  Once Rick said something about "we're doing this for them" he turned back around. There were two vehicles because, I mean, Did you see that Buick???  Damn.  Warning lights on the dash and poo.  That Roadmaster was about to blow the fug up.  Safety in numbers, never know who they'll run into 20 miles out, blah, blah, blah.

Makes sense, but the three of them aren't going to be riding Daryl's bike back...

thats what I was thinking too, but hey it's Daryl and he has to have a cool bike. Also there are situations where a guy on a bike would be a better thing to have in case bad things happen as well -

We may see him again later in other episodes...as a walker.
