I knew Glenn was a goner, or would be left to assume he was dead, after he said to Rick, "Good luck dumbass". Remember the tank? "Hey dumbass, in the tank".

Anyone else think Rick will lose his hand, like the comics?

i didn't get to focus on this episode too awful much, but why did Darryl break off and ride on an open road? Who were these random people who tried to attack Rick?

LOL he's not dead.  Clear misdirection.   It would be hard for intestines and stuff to be ripped from the CHEST and that angle, but clearly looks like it's Nicholas getting ripped apart through his back.   The question is how he gets out of that.

Also, the timeline of these events is all out of whack and makes ZERO sense.  Whomever put together these last couple episodes must have got confused or just given up on making it make sense.   Morgan must run a sub 40 at this point to get there so much faster, for instance.  

Rick mowing those dudes down through the side was awesome though.  A+.

I dont think Glen is dead..I just saw the episode..

The guy fell on top of Glen..the zombies were eating the dead guy..remember when zombie blood gets on them it masks the human scent..Glen is going to do a Carol and walk out that scene with zombie blood on him..

Now Rick on the other hand..I sure hope we aint seeing him come to his end with that cut..

The real topic for discussion is how could anyone ever take anything Rick says seriously ever again? His plan was basically a complete fail that got almost every single participant killed, and also many people in Alexandria died from the wolves because Rick and co. weren't there. 

His entire plan was basically an unmitigated disaster.

I don't think Glenn is dead. He was the fifth character introduced to the show and they wouldn't just give him a 10 second death scene. 

Agreed on Morgan, how the hell did he get back so damn fast? And if they are so far away from Alexandria how the fug did they hear a truck horn? Lots of plot holes in the show but it's still really good. 

Glenn either crawled under the dumpster or shot off the flare gun he has to create a distraction. Nicolas' guts wouldn't camoflauge Glenn because they would smell fresh and he wouldn't smell like a zombie

Watching Glenn/s "death" scene, my only thoughts were...holy poo, this is an awful death scene if he's still alive and screaming as he's being torn apart in that manner.  Then I remembered the other dude fell on him, so, whatever.  If Glenn's alive, sneaking out from a hoard of hundreds of zombies that have him circled as he's pinned under a dead guy and screaming his lungs out?  Yeah...that's beyond ridiculous.

If it's a dream sequence or something? Meh...sure, whatever.  I don't like Glenn anyway for some reason, let him be dead.

Honestly to me, although there was a lot of good zombie action,  that was perhaps the dumbest episode to date.  They pretty much used every plot cliche they could, twisted ankle, silent zombies, one minute there's a horde next minute streets are clear, "leave me behind..." "no we're not leaving you behind" (proceed to leave person behind).

 

Eh...   I hope Glenn is dead mainly because otherwise it'd be really dumb....  but I suspect he's not.

 

Also (and I've always wondered this) how exactly does a cut on your body with zombie blood all over you not infect you?  That makes no sense.

 

Love the show but they gotta get beyond these dumb, overused plot devices, the audience is too smart for that crap...

PS- why the hell didn't Michonne kill the guy at the fence that's being eaten alive?  Thanks for nothing "friends".  If zombies are eating me alive, somebody please kill me.

Glenn's alive. If it's a dream sequence, I'll be pissed though. Let him just use his knife, coat himself in walker guts from beneath Nicholas, and mosey on out of there that way.


I hope a certain guy with a certain awesome name shows up to save Rick's ass, and then the two of them go off to save Glenn's ass, thus leading to a "larger world".

I thought the episode was great. Here's what I think the timeline is, since somebody mentioned it earlier.


Episode 1, you had it end with the horn. I'd guess from the moment they start the herding to the moment the horn sounds, they're roughly what, an hour or two in the show's universe time? And that's due to the slow moving. They probably didn't get more than a few miles from Alexandria. Moments before that horn, Morgan goes back towards Alexandria. They aren't THAT far away and it's not like he's taking the roadways back. Cutting through woods and whatnot, I'm guessing they are about a 30 minute, fast-paced walk from Alexandria when Morgan heads back.

Episode 2 starts about an hour after the herding of the walkers started, I'd say. It would help it make sense, as the attack starts and goes on for what has to be at least 30 minutes in the show's universe time before Morgan steps in (I have to figure that the truck that caused the horn didn't show up for 5-10 minutes of that attack. Morgan didn't start back until just before the horn. He is about 30 minutes from town, and one would assume he ran). This allows for Rick and Glenn and everybody to hear the gunfire back home in Episode 3.

Episode 3 picks up not long after the horn starts because it is still going for a few solid minutes. It did the same in episode 2 during the attack. I think the gunfire that Rick hears "back home" while in the RV is actually Michonne, Scott, and Heath escaping the town outside Alexandria where Glenn is presumed dead. Because moments after hearing that, the Wolves attack him. No reason that amount of gunfire would be going on, since the Wolves were all gone or dead. The Wolves had to have taken 30 minutes or so getting to where Rick is, assuming they took a straight path the way I assume Morgan did. This would suggest that this entire episode and all of it's action took place in a 45 minute window. Which is tough to swallow, considering the hangups Michonne had after Glenn and Nicholas ran off and how long they were stationary. This is the one part that didn't make sense to me in the timeline.


It's sloppy and takes a lot of guess work on my part, but it's the best I've come up with to keep the action straight. I like that there are multiple layers to this season and a lot of moving parts, but it's a pain in the ass when things aren't quite lining up neatly.

it was the Alexandrian dude who panicked and started pulling walkers to the group, the horn that caused half break off. Rick had to do everything on the fly. They weren't even planning to do that mission that very second. Not his fault. And they still managed to get a good chunk of herd away while also the people who stayed back defending home base. The people that died weren't cut for this world anyways. That's exactly the point Rick was making and he was right

Glenn is gonna slip under the dumpster and hide while the zombies are busy eating Nicholas.  Glenn's screams aren't going to matter in this situation because for all the zombies know it's the guy they're eating that's screaming even though he's dead... they don't know that.  They're zombies.  They're stupid and have attention spans worse than a goldfish.  Hell more than likely while Glenn is hiding they'll finish eating Nicholas and then some noise or something will draw them from the area.

It's a huge reach for Glenn to escape this situation, but it's technically possible, even if it's pretty dumb and cheap.

The only thing I could even possibly begin to accept is a dream scenario, but even that is just really corny.

Glenn just casually slipping out away from the herd of zombies though would be one of the most absurd scenarios in television history.

Well you know either way that they're gonna let that hang at LEAST one week... next week will probably be back at Alexandria and/or a flashback thing for Morgan...

I had a question... wtf was Daryl doing when he left the car and the horde?  Where was he going?  That didn't really make sense to me... and it also didn't make sense why they needed the car and the motorcycle to direct the horde... the zombies would follow either.  That whole setup was weird.
