Well at least the dialogue  was the same. I thought Morgan was pretty good as negan.

for those that don't know, I will also add the context that the girl in the comics calling Maggie "mom" is Sophia, Carol's daughter that the show killed off... Also, Heath is present, and the show has seen fit to make Heath rather irrelevant...

Is heath the black dude that couldn't kill the savior so Glenn did it? I don't remember his name.

I would really liked to have been in the writers room when they made that decision. Even the most basic writer knows every story has to have a climax if you build something you have to deal with it..and do they really think people will have the same emotion 6 months from now?

<spoiler>Even if the first shot of the premiere who is dead..it will still feel like kind of a like a let down.  its a lose lose situation for them so I dont get there logic behind it.</spoiler>

Hey now, he was very important this year.  He took Tara on a half a season run so that they did not have to worry about filming a pregnant actress.  That is stepping up right there.

Gimple is getting destroyed on twitter right now, as the finale is also being bashed by critics. What a terrible, terrible idea which was so unnecessary.

 

Random thought: I really like Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan, I just wish he was a little bit bigger, like in the shoulders. Watching him sizing up the crew, I thought he was kind of unintimidating. Maybe he'll bulk up a little for next season.

The more I think about it the more pissed I am...  not only did they make the season finale 90 minutes mainly due to the extra commercials, they literally poo on the fans with this freaking cliffhanger that was totally unnecessary.  Who made this moronic decision?  They could have had one of the biggest moments in TV history and they totally blew it and now I really don't give a poo who they killed off.

And they spent 70 of those minutes driving in circles!

I thought the same thing. He looks and sounds great but he doesn't fill out the jacket.
