Apparently it's a 1st person shot through Negen's victim's eyes. It shows him approach the camera with the bat and swing and then the episode ends. It doesn't actually show who it is. Cliffhanger

Oh yeah, I read that one already. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if it played out that way.

After the dumpster fiasco, that might just make me tire from the show altogether. Can only insult your audience so many times.

If that's how the season ends TWD would have killed any goodwill they earned the second half of this season....but it wouldn't surprise me.

I think it may not be true though just due to the comments from cast members on the finale and Negan's introduction.

I believe it was the actor that plays Morgan that said it's one of the best intros to any character he's ever seen in TV. We shall see.

I don't think I would be that upset if it played out that way but certainly wasn't the way I was hoping it plays out. We will see though. 2 more episodes to go. Honestly this has been the best half season and it's not even close or over so that's saying a lot. Was re watching some old episodes and for as muc hate this show gets on a week to week basis here it really is a fantastic show. End of season 4 and back half of season 5 were really good

IF that's how the final episode ends, count me as pissed off by it. I'd rather the season end with a reaction shot of everyone seeing that, as opposed to that scenario. A cool concept, sure...but not to end on and draw out for the next 6 months or whatever until the show comes back.

It's not like TWD is desperate for a ratings boost.

Certainly Coolin is correct in that it is still a very good show, obviously one of the best on television. But the writing has still had it's spotty moments of just plain laziness. They have a really good opportunity here with Negan, I don't think they will waste it like that.

I cannot imagine it is that.  They would really risk losing people (myself included).  End of the seventh episode...maybe, but not as a cliffhanger.

From the things the cast said though about it being their worst day filming ever and stuff it does not really make sense that it actually plays out that way.
