Very good episode, I have really enjoyed this half season so far, which is great because the first half was hot garbage.

I feel Tara and Glenn are going to die.  Hopefully Abraham joins them.

Bet when you watch the first half of the season on Netflix or whatever, in succession through a power-watch or whatever, you will be more than happy with how it went. First half of the season set the tone for what we're seeing.

Maybe, I will say the stupid dumpster thing seriously hindered my enjoyment, one of the worst cop outs I have ever seen.

Also hated that Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham were just riding around for eight weeks and was very disappointed in the build up to the wolves and having the whole thing basically over in one episode (although I loved Carol kicking their ass).

Maybe it is better on binge but I really did not care for most of the storylines to begin with.

I've grown to enjoy when things don't go the way I expect them to at all, because usually that means something else is coming out of the blue, and that usually is what gets me pumped for the show.

Like when they showed up at the Saviors compound and it seemed so unimpressive after the hype - it takes all your previous thoughts on what could happen and chucks them out the window and you are just along for the ride at that point. The people that run this show have a great feel for how to keep the audience wondering what's going to happen next, without too many "WTF?? That was dumb!" instances ruining it.

Usually by the sixth season of a show, it's getting stale and running out of ideas. This show just recreates itself over and over, which is a great benefit of any show engaging in scifi like speculative fiction if done well - the fact that so many people are thinking that this season is the best yet is pretty amazing. My favorite show ever, the Battlestar Galactica reboot, couldn't keep it going in this manner much past season 4.

Anyone else have the idea that when they showed up at The Saviors' compound to find that it was a broadcasting center, that they were holed up in Falwell's Liberty Broadcasting compound? I mean, they are a couple of hours drive away from "Alexandria" and there is the whole "Saviors" thing.

Just a thought that nagged me during the show.

Is the whole thing where they all claim to be Negan something they do in the comics so outsiders do not know which one he is?

As I watched last night's episode, I couldn't help but think it was going to be just another filler....but damn in the last fifteen minutes the poo really hit the fan.

Loved the red head character. She was a complete badass.

A few thoughts:

- the group that took Maggie and Carol were terrible captors. They should have never let Carol keep the rosary. They should have not let Carol and Maggie talk to them. How did Maggie get free?

- Rick and Co. should be smart enough to realize that "Primo" was not Negan. A little quick on the trigger with that one Rick

Maggie was helped free by Carol but I agree Rick should have tried to get more info out of him before popping him.
