Walking Dead Season 6

JJman Returns

I dont think anyone could complain about the pacing of the season so far. Another incredibly tense episode. No other show on tv gets my heart racing like this show and i even know what happens in the comics which i kinda think ratchets up the intensity for me.

I think that wasnt Negans actually base but more of a supply location and that negans actually base is much bigger. Was too easy to work through the saviors like that. Carol is such an interesting character to me. The nice touch that she left the cookie for sam and her reaction to the fact shes killed 18 people. I love what the show has done with her and her arc. Looks like we will be getting more from her so im excited. SUCH A GREAT SHOW

This is the episode where I couldn't sit down,  I was pacing my nerves got the best of me, lol. My blood pressure was so high I had a massive headache.  This is the 2nd best episode of the season and the best Talking dead of all time, JB Smoove had me roaring with laughter.

JB should be on every show. Not Talking Dead, every show on tv.

Another good episode...

I, too, think that they were wrong and that was just an outpost location, not the Saviors compound.

The whole storyline from last night wasn't in the comics really, so I thought it was really well executed.

LOL'd at several moments... another "What?" from Rick... Eugene... "Why are dingleberries brown?!?!?!"... Negan's doormen talking like Negan would... but then some moments were pretty intense.

I'm almost leaning towards them pulling a fast one on us with Glenn, in that they are almost making his fate TOO obvious at this point... I will kind of be upset, though, if his character line on the show doesn't end up mirroring his comic one... Those pictures on the wall were just screaming forced...

Daryl on the other hand... Don't be so sure his lunchbox status guarantees him anything...  I still see some signs that he might not make it...

I'm afraid we won't meet Negan before the finale, though, which kind of sucks too... but maybe I'm wrong...

Too forced? I think they are just getting every non comic book reader ready for what will equate to the "Red Wedding" of the walking dead. They need to be slowly hand held down this dark path. It's not something you could just hide from the viewers until it happens and be like yep no setup boom deal with it.

Good episode.

I think Morgan was building a cell and if that is indeed the case. Then for who?

I'm thinking he'll try to use it to convince Rick to rehabilitate people rather than kill them outright, calling back to his previous profession of law enforcement, opposed to the new mantra of vigilantism...

Do you think they really think their viewers are that dumb, though? I've seen some evidence of it in the past but with Glenn it is getting pretty blatant.

Without knowing this place was the compound or not, i thought a better idea might be to just get the hostage and go back.

Let the group come to you and kill all but one or two to get even more intel on neegan and go find the true lair.

 But technical aside, awesome episode.

You have to remember though not every fan is apart of spoiler forums like you and don't keep up to date on casting/filming updates. I don't think viewers are dumb but more casual in the sense they watch the episodes as they air and haven't read the comic books. I don't mind the heavy handedness though, I was flipping my poo when I saw Glenn staring at those photos. Completely bad omen. Really good foreshadowing if you aren't in the know

I can't speak to everyone else in the world, but my wife and I really enjoyed an episode that was horrifically uncomfortable. The whole premise of "Taking them out before they take you out" was very at odds with the way the show has worked, which is good!  For most of the sneaking through the compound, my wife and I had our eyes closed, just waiting for someone to die horribly.  The ending was a great gut shot.  It really set up the end of the season for us.

The whole "if this is the new world" thing was really great as a defining moment for the show.  Is this what they are trying to do?  Kill the opposition?  While I generally agree in killing the monsters, this will be a painful lesson for Rick & Co. I mean, why didn't they recon the place better?  While I know there is a time constraint, I'd like to know and see it all worked before I committed that kind of ammo and blood to them.

To the Saviors, their outpost armory was nearly as well stocked as Alexandria...what does that tell a lay viewer like me?  They ain't no one to fug with!  Man, this is really going to bit Rick in the balls here...

Glenn or Maggie?  I think Glenn is going to try some kind of heroic, suicide mission to free Carol and Maggie and end up dead.  I also think Abraham is either going to die soon, or flip to the Saviors.  Something came loose in his head, and that's scary.

Great episode.  The build up for a horrific finale is on!

Isn't really relevant to the current show drama or anything, but in case you didn't know, Ross Marquand (Aaron) is an awesome guy... I am a huge fan of his after recent discoveries (relevant to Panthers also, in the first vid)
