In a world where you have bad asses like Rick, carol, the governor, the wolves, terminus, the saviors who kill anyone and everyone they deem a threat I think it's quite refreshing to have a bad ass who could kill and has done so before but chooses not to because he believes it's the right thing to do. Who is willing to protect life. That doesn't seem tiring to me

His character is not tiring, I like his character, and the actor who portrays him in particular.

Others characters getting killed because of the shtick about not killing anyone regardless of how much they are a direct threat on the other hand is something that will indeed get tiring, especially in a zombie apocalypse after all the things the main characters have been through so far.

All this came from Eastman obviously, and his character was very enjoyable. But the thing about Eastman, even he admittedly killed that man who killed his family. Eastman also was living alone at the time he met Morgan. So there was no one else around Eastman who he cared about for his approach to directly affect in the event of a real threat. This however is obviously not the case with Morgan, he is among a group of many, including children, where his new approach directly affects all those around him.

So again. While I certainly enjoyed the episode with Morgan, and Eastman, it was great as an origin, but applying this to the show itself with all the other characters moving forward really doesn't work long term. At least in my opinion. I think others here have expressed this as well.

The worst thing this show ever did was going to 16 episodes.  They needed to stick to something like 12 so you can get quality episodes and no breaks.  I get it from a financial perspective, but it really hurt the quality of the show.

Completely agree.  The best shows are 10-12, and even with 12 episode seasons you get boring filler from time to time.

Agreed.  If he wants to have that apporach then he needs to go solo.  It is wrong of him to put everybody else in the group's lives at risk because of this approach.  He already almost got Rick killed already and now the doctor (forget her name) has been taken captive.

Carol suddenly can't run without falling,  the giant baby kid that's scared of "monsters", somehow what's-her-name falls and gets bitten,  Morgan and Carol fight and both end up knocked out, they have guns on the Wolf and all he has is a knife and they all put the guns down ....  good god, stupid cliches everywhere.

Booooring.

They have dropped the ball this half of season 6.

They seriously need to find a Finish Line and get some new shoes or something.  I have never seen a group of people more incapable of running without falling down.

Like a critic said, if covering yourself in walker guts is so effective, why doesn't every character just walk around like that every time they go out?

Guess that would make it way too easy.

but but but post apocalyptic fashion trends

one has to wonder if there are people out there in that universe that would do just that... dress as (or in) the dead all the time... shhhhhhhhhh

hehehehehehe

I'm still trying to figure out how some characters stay/get fat.

I'm looking at you Eugene.

I can't recall if you have read the comics, but I do recall a brief moment when comic Eugene addresses his weight... lol... Something like how it is falling off now that he is more active in the group or something...

Visually the weight is important for Eugene so you can tell without dialog that he is not a ass kicker in the group, there are so many people in the show that are all fit and skinny that it's a good thing to do for us I think. Maybe there will be a time where they make him into a mans man and he looks all buff....

    • His o loaded with swift, dj, Keenan and Rome was inconsistent at best. The d was bad. And the game management was atrocious and lost them games.  He was terrible and made the team worse. I wish they kept him
    • That is my point.  I think teams make a huge mistake when they pay their decent to average QBs top QB money because they feel that they have to match the market or lose their investment--There is no way, for example, that Tua or Prescott or Murray should all be making more than Mahomes--I mean, Dak makes $15m per season more than Mahomes. People say, "Well, when its his turn...." But that is not how it should be--so my point was that Bryce can be doing mediocre to good enough in 2 years, but the way it is going, you have to pay him at the starting QB rate--currently $60m.  So even if you think he will continue to improve, at $60 m, he would eliminate any chance for a ring---so my view is, if he is not elite, you cut him.  So you draft QBs now and see what you can make of them.
    • With two 4ths and three 5ths I’m hoping we can kill it on adding depth. Take a gamble with the two 7ths.  First 3 picks id love to address the defense. I expect Tuttle, Robinson, and Jewell to all be on the 2025 roster but not after that. Be a good time to add depth and let them develop a year.
