Why do you care so much about what other people say about a TV show?

At the end of the day it's just entertainment. Opinions are just that. Opinions. None are necessarily above others.

Opinion 1: "I don't think Obama has been a good president because of his foreign policy decisions. I believe pulling out of Iraq was a bad idea which has led to ISIS filling a power vacuum.

Opinion 2: "I don't like Obama cause he's black and Muslim"

Yes opinions are better than others. What world do you live in? Last time a checked this was a forum, you know.. Where people come to share, express, and counter ideas. Tell me, what's the point of posting week after week if it's just the same two lines "lazy directing/writing" nothing more than that. Not even suggestions on what people would have liked to see or where they think the show could do better. Just posting quick buzzword criticism just to do it.

You wanna talk about lazy writing..

Bronn, on your kill list you mention Judith. I watch weekly with my friends and I mentioned that I wonder if they would kill her.

After the backlash GOT received for "violence against women" due to Sansa rape do you guys think there would be backlash to killing Judith? I mean killing the only baby does seem a little over the top.

They have another baby on the way.  I doubt they have two babies on the show, the one they have really adds nothing outside of occassionally being in the way.  I am guessing either Judith or pregnant Maggie goes at some point.  Either that or Maggie loses her baby somehow.  Unless they are planning one of those awful time jumps I do not see what they gain from two babies.

Like season 4 and 5, when you watch it all on Netflix without the week long waits, the story will seem better. When you're waiting, it feels like there's not much going on. Let's recap.

Rick launches a plan for a near by threat.

Rick essentially becomes second in command to Deanna. And in Deanna's mind, Rick runs the show.

Introduction of major role players in the show like Heath.

The drama of Enid and what her role is to become.

Glenn's return from hell.

We know what Morgan was up to for three seasons of show.

The divide in the group between being safe and intertwined with the Alexandrians vs those who think the Alexandrians are simply useless and shouldn't be considered "one of them".

The various romances building.

Abraham and Sasha are coming back from PTSD.

Carl is being little Shane.

Wolf in the walls.

Saviors introduced.

Maggie's pregnancy.

That's just to this point, and I'm sure I missed some. There's a lot going on.

That was the most boring mid season finale.  Too much of long setup to build to a "cliffhanger(s).    They should of given us a little more.  Definitely wish that would have been an hr and a half instead of the Morgan episode.

Also, screw AMC with this making us watch the Badlands to get the goods.  That show sucks.  Quit that crap.  Also, Talking needs to be after Walking.   We get what you are doing.  Badlands blows though.

has there been a more worthless character, that is supposedly a somewhat main character, than Heath this season? Wasn't he only in like 2-3 episodes?

Also, how does the group help Tobin up, but somehow we never see Tobin again?

I hated the cliffhanger of "mom"... I wish they'd grow a pair and leave people wondering the fate of a certain character for 6 months after they suffered a seemingly grave injury...

That said, there were a couple things I thought were good this episode. I have to admit, when Carl put Judith under his gore poncho, I thought "oh hell yeah, 2 for one here we come!!!!" so they got me there... Also, I liked the Maggie/balloon scene... it was pretty intense, and then having her look up at the balloons was good...

Overall, though, I am starting to agree more and more that this half of the season was pretty terrible overall...

I mean, Rick just gets done telling Deanna he isn't going to leave her alone in the room with the baby, and then he rushes off to Jessie's call for help and totally forgets about it again for a bit? lol Carol and Morgan's fight was totally meh, and honestly I am tired of Carol getting this supergirl treatment where she's the alpha female in certain situations and is unrealistically badass.

The Negan teaser was okay. I figure there's gonna be a firefight involving the RPG blowing up the truck or something and they'll wipe out the lot of the biker gang and ride off back to Alexandria on their stolen hogs or some such drivel as that, the way the writing is going so far.

Yeah, I can see Daryl and Abraham "giving them" what they got.   Blowup that little  group.  Would give Neegan a could reason to go to Alexandria looking for people to show what a bad guy he may be.

I agree with Carol.  I like what they did with her character but they have gone to far.  She suddenly shouldn't be able to fist fight with men.   That isn't the type "tough" she should be.
