Walking Dead Season 6

JJman Returns

Past two episodes have been pretty meh, but I guess that is necessary in the long run. This last episode had a few eye rolling moments, just dumb stuff like the girl kneeling down next to the charred bodies. Like, obviously they are fugging zombies. And Daryl shaking a branch and the dude gets bit by a walker, seemed pretty dumb. And the little group hiding in the woods, didn't seem to make sense. One second they are right in front of the bad guys, then they scurry away and they are all of sudden out of sight?  Just sloppy directing IMO.

Norman Reedus said he was excited about this last episode because it introduces a lot of storyline that is forthcoming, so there is that. These next two episodes will probably be killer.

I too was confused by this.  Glad I was not the only one.

When I first heard it, I thought it was Rick tbqh.

Who knows, though... I would assume it would have to be someone in their group, as they would have to have had the same radio frequencies, unless they were using plain old citizen bands, which would be pretty stupid for a group trying to somewhat isolate themselves from outside threats.

Maybe it was Nicholas, and he and Glenn were okay the whole time (a dream or something? lol)

Norman Reedus confirmed in an interview that it was NOT Glenn on the radio at the end, so I'm not sure who it will be.

Jesus maybe?

WARNING:  THIS POST DOES HAVE MY PREDICTION/GUESS OF THE NEXT TWO EPISODES.  NOT BASED ON ANYTHING CONFIRMED OR PHOTOS THAT SOME LOOK AT.

I think it has to be Dwight.

Dwight took everything Daryl had.  Daryl in the final scene isn't using his walkie but the one Abraham had.  Dwight has Daryl's.  I also think the midseason finale ends with a big scene involving the new group of guys that shot at Daryl, Abraham, and Sasha.  They clearly are already looking for Dwight.  So in the two episodes, our main characters have to meet up w/ the new group for the finale to go down IMO.   I think Dwight using the walkie out of desperation or perhaps forced by the "new group" creates the "meet up".

So I think Daryl responds to the help call....b/c he is gonna want that bike and bow back.  He simply ain't Daryl with out it.  So he will have to get them back in some fashion.  So I think the next episode slow plays them getting to the "help call".  Then the midseason finale has that trio mixing it up w/ the new group in some fashion.  Which IMO will be the "OMG" part of the finale.

I can't figure out any way for Glenn coming back and it working.  I know he is coming back though.  I almost think they will pull a Beth and really drag his fate out and not giving us much the next 2 episodes.  Maybe someone from the new group makes it to Alexandria and hints at something in regards to Glenn but that could be it and Alexandria group at least becomes aware of the other group as possible means to aid w/ the zombie's about to breach the wall.

Who knows.

Glenn spoilers for the show. Don't read if you don't want to be spoiled.

He hid under the dumpster and waited it out for the herd to be distracted. Enid sees him, and tosses him a bottle of water. He makes it back to just outside Alexandria and releases the balloons intended to signal his return. This all supposedly happens this episode.

I imagine those balloons attract the wrong people.

That poo was incredibly lame.

  • Enid is a bitch
  • Carl still sucks at acting and looks like a wimp
  • There is no way Glenn survived that without at least a bite
  • plot/fangirl armor is lame
  • Morgan is dumb and I suspect he'll be the one who meets Lucile
  • I still have a man crush on Rick

Glenn should have died. I don't give a poo about a "proper send off". It's about time that a main character died by some off the wall random poo. It adds unpredictability in a show where everyone pretty much knows characters like Rick and Michonne are safe. What people forget is that this is a drama set in a post apocalyptic world. Heroes need to die sometimes, which the comic does an excellent job at. This doesn't really apply to anyone on here, but a ton of people treat TWD like it's Days of our Lives.

I agree.  Glenn should of at least been bitten at a minimum.  First it was nice the zombies somehow parted and allowed him to fall cleanly to the ground, then somehow he could lay there screaming with a hundred on top of him and they all neglected to bit his entire lower body and head.

Lame.  Can't just sprinkle magic pixie dust on people.  Show lost something there IMO.  The fake out was a fail.  TV show got too caught up in trying to throw a monkey wrench at comic readers.   Plus, everyone knew he didn't die...the fakeout wasn't even good.

I mean, Glenn better get it good in the finale.

I actually think the Wolf or Carol takes out Morgan.

    • Super raw, not sure he is worth a top 10 pick.  Primary a pass rusher.  A bit like Burns, very fast athletic but doesnt always follow the play.  His highlights look good but when you watch him play you can see he is just raw and needs to develop
    • Personally, I am not sold on Bryce yet--and I do not think anyone is saying they are, but I don't think Ward is on table when we draft anyway.  Not even sure if I would rather have him than one of the later QBs.  I see a lot of potential in Allar, Nussmeire, Rourke, and even Hamilton from Ohio State--Milroe is intriguing, but I am not sure he is an NFL QB.  Ewers is that sleeper who falls and becomes a solid starter. I think that we sign a veteran who has played and we draft one of these project QBs. To your point:  With that in mind, I think you have to take QB off the table in round 1, and if Bryce can string 4-5 games like KC together, we still need to draft a QB in round three or so---I really think Rourke is a great fit for this offense--he is accurate and gets the ball out quickly---he impressed me vs OSU.   Reason?  I think we may have a tough decision to make about Bryce in 2 years--will he be worth $60m?  That decision is a lot easier if you have been grooming a backup for 2 years who can play. In round 1: I am hoping for PSU's edge Abdul Carter In round 2:  I would like to see us grab a DT who can rush the passer.  Walter Nolen of Ole Miss is versatile and a bit raw. I think he could be an excellent complement to Brown. In round 3:  I would love ILB Danny Stutsman from Oklahoma.  He is a beast. With 11 picks, I would package our 4th rounders to move up into the third round and take a QB.  At the moment, I think Rourke is trending upward and he has the skills Canales seems to want in a QB.  Quick processor, quick release. I would use the fifth rounders on OL.  I know that I left out WR--however, we are getting Thielen back, XL will be improved, Coker will be improved, and Moore has been surprisingly good.  Sanders (TE) has been more than expected in the passing game.  I think we need D more than WR, and maybe we can get a veteran WR to sign or find a hidden gem late.
    • Wouldn't be surprised if he starts a couple Jets games this year with the way the Rodgers thing is going. Giants fans are pissed they didn't keep him lol. He might actually have a little bit of a market.
