We Got No Help From Our NFCS Foes...

Well, that's all we had last year to bring us hope...the ineptitude of our rivals.

We're gonna need some help when it's all said and done. Don't get me wrong I like our team and feel we're up to the task, but there's a big difference from 7-8-1 to 13-3.

Im hoping wildcard since Dallas lost Romo and that's gonna be our spot to take, I really don't know if we have it in us to get 14 wins.

14 wins? 11 gets us in the playoffs.

After watching our rivals today, I think the Panthers stand a good chance at a record of 12-4.

Seattle, Philly and Indy have shown themselves to be beatable.  Green Bay looks to be a bigger challenge.

7-1 at the mid point.

once again, we've got to beat the Seachickens to show we have what it takes, but it seems our biggest challenges lie within our own division vs the Saints in the dome and our 2 games vs the fowl-pigeons.

we need to stay healthy, that's for sure.

i don't think the 'Colts are up to our talent level this year, just hoping Kared Allen and Addiaon/Ealy gest on some Lucky Charms and we'll be riding high on the sugar rush after we beat the sea chickens.

any-given Sunday and I'm still optimistic against GB, regardless of the brats partaken in tailgates surrounding BofA.

In all seriousness, we haven't had a dominant win yet, regardless of our competition.

So  what?  Last time I checked, there is no rule requiring dominant wins.  Just have to keep winning.  Dominant wins are irrelevant.  Only wins matter.  Last year at this time, New England was coming off of getting blown out by KC and was 2-2.  They ended fairly well.

Coming out of the bye into this next 4 game stretch I see us being 6-2 at worst. 7-1 if we are for real. We play the Falcons twice in the last couple weeks. Literally anything could happen in between that. We knew we had to to come out 4-0 for a chance to make it to the playoffs. We've followed that plan pretty well so far.

A tough win in Seattle instantly legitimizes us as a team. I have no doubt in my mind we are treating this like a playoff game. I think Rivera will have this team ready to stomp a reeling Seahawks.

you're right...a win is a win is a win. We're not built yet to just blow teams out and we're a clock-controlling, liberally-efficient offense.

I don't really expect us to just go and crush opponents, we're the latest of many cardiac-cats team.

We're still undefeated and playing these high-scoring offenses we have in the second-third of our schedule is gonna go a long way, showing what type of offense we truly have.

i still feel we're gonna need Dallas, NYG, Rams and maybe Philly/Atl to pick up some losses to get a spot in the playoffs.

we know this sea-chicken team, regardless of what Ron does to prepare us for this game.

if we lose this or the Indy game, we are still pretenders, regardless of whether we make the playoffs or win our division.

there's no lucking our way into the playoffs this year. If we wanna be the best, we gotta beat the best.

I don't think anyone argues if we want to be the best we have to beat best. We can and will do that. We can only play the teams on our schedule.

Atlanta is going to crumble, anyone that watched the game today can see that. They've trailed in the 4th of all wins except one. Regression to the mean will happen.

So trailing in the 4th is a bad thing? Maybe we're a 2nd half team. Much like Carolina who plays ugly games until the later 3rd/ early 4th. Like against the Jags, Saints & Bucs games.

yeah...we're definitely a second-half team traditionally. That's the one area where we need Cam to get us going early and we can really be a tough team. Still...we have yet to see this offense get-going early.

losing KB really hurts our chances at being a dominant offensive team.
