Atlanta isn't the NE Patriots, a well oiled machine that can cruise to a 13-3 record easily. You can't just look at their schedule and assume they're going to win games because they should win them. Today, they were at home facing a meh Redskins team led by a backup QB in Cousins, and they needed a comeback win and OT to beat them.

Atlanta is soft. They win games with finesse, not by imposing their will on teams like we do. That means I could absolutely see teams like the Bucs and Jags, let alone the Saints/Vikings/49ers having a legitimate chance to beat the Falcons. Also, the Falcons haven't had their depth tested yet. It's a LONG season.

uhm... how about we dont have to battle back in 4/5 of our games to win? instead, we took the lead early in 3/4 of our games and held on to win. in other words, we are doing what all of your opponents couldnt... BIG difference between the two teams.

the falcons are precariously close to 1-4 right now. The Panthers would be 3-1, 2-2 at worst. try harder.
