Greg got a raw deal. People are pissed that he's playing even though he's been out for A YEAR AND A HALF for something that has zero to do with football (and that even assumes that he did it). I miss Greg Hardy the football player, however Greg Hardy the person has made some terrible decisions just over the last 18 months and put the Panthers in a bad position in more ways than one

Regardless of what you think actually happened with Nicole Holder, there are a few things about Hardy that can be firmly established.

- He isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer

- He thinks the rules don't apply to him

- He's got a history of showing poor judgement

- He likes to engage in risky behavior

- He has no clue why any of these things would be considered negatives

That's a really, really bad combination, and it's definitely not one you throw a multi-year contract with guaranteed money at.

I'm so embarrassed I defended Hardy for as long as I did. He doesn't belong in the NFL. I'm also embarrassed he still has so many people defending him here.
