How do you guys feel when an announcer says insert fan base here travels well?

That "travel well" line is bullsh*t.  The Seahawks are a perfect example.  They played here last year and there were quite a few of those clowns walking around in crisp new 12 and Wilson jerseys.  The only place those morons traveled was to a computer so they could log into Amazon.com and buy a Hawks jersey.  "Travel Well" is the PC term for "fuging weak kneed flip flopping bandwagon asshole".

Yep, 95 % of the fans that "travel" well are spineless flavor of the week type of ppl with no real loyalty.  Just wanna fit in i guess.

Pretty sure it's just a figure of speech. Like they mean that they are always represented well at opposing stadiums...not that fans from the hometown literally travel to every away game across the country.

Imagine that lone Seahawks fan that loved them during the Dave Kreig and Steve Largent years in the king dome, who actually does travel to an away game now and then.  Now imagine that guy is surrounded by obnoxious bandwagon fans who know nothing of the teams history or true loyalty.  Does that poor guy deserve to get doused with beer and batteries like his idiot counterparts who bought their jerseys yesterday and can't name more than 5 starters? 

The answer is yes, yes he does.

I admit I have a double standard. It's ok for Panther fans. I love Panther fans.  The rest can suck it.

Growing up I loved Steve Largent. He was my favorite player even though I wasn't a Seahawks fan.
