PFF ranks Panthers O-line as 2nd best in the NFL

But, but, but... Cam has the worst supporting cast in the history of the NFL!  How can this be?

Well Josh Norman does have as many touchdowns as Philly Brown, Jerricho Cotchery, Jonathan Stewart, Mike Tolbert, Devin Funchess, Bersin, and Norwood combined so...

We've basically demonstrated how you can use a mobile QB properly without overpaying on the line. The blocking schemes we have been doing are incredibly effective and give Cam that much more time to run.

I don't think Oher has been bad. I've barely heard his name, which is a good thing.

I just really wish we could've surrounded Cam with more talent like teams such as Indy, Philly, and Miami....

Every time people bring this up I laugh. They still fail to realize if you put Cam in any of those team you just mentioned  they will all be over .500. While the panthers would 1-3 AT BEST

Cam is great equalizer

Cams ability to run really skews these numbers. The line cannot run block to save their lives. Either that or Stew and Tolbert are just poo now.

you do realize, evey team stacks the box against the Panthers. The line still blocks well, it's just to many defenders and not enough blockers.

I don't think Bell was as big a problem last year as people think. The move from Bell to Oher has been maybe a slight upgrade, but not a huge one. It was every bit as much Amini and Chandler last year as it was Bell - or rather the combo of all three starting together. Once Turner, Norwell, and Remmers were inserted into the starting lineup the improvement was near instant.

I really think the struggles of the run game come less from poor blocking and more from defenses stacking the box because we don't have the weapons at WR to scare anyone. If we had a legitimate threat at WR, I can almost guarantee the run game would be more effective than it's been.
