hahahaha I knew somebody would take it that way.

Okay so for the third time, let me explain what I mean. Idk maybe my other posts aren't showing up on your screen or something?

I want Luke out there more than anyone. I also want Luke to only be out there if he is 100% ready to go. That being said, with the way that the team has handeled this, I would not be SUPRISED if Luke missed several more games or even the rest of the season. When this happens, I will bump my thread in which I was flamed for "overreacting" when I smelled something fishy about this in week 3. I pray that this is not the case, but I will definitely remind all of the people saying I was overreacting or being an idiot for showing concern.

That's fair enough. You can get in your I told you so if that happens. But then if he DOES play in Seattle we will bump and sticky your thread and put you in the internet equivalent of stocks and everyone gets to throw old tomatoes at your face.

What exactly do you mean by "how the team has handled this"? Following the league mandated protocol? Just what the heck do you want them to say? "Yeah, his career is over but we're just dragging it out to mess with you, lol!"

Dude we're talking about Luke and this situation right now, if you really want to start with personal attacks and poo, I can go there.

Lets just remember who cares more about their internet persona between the two of us and go from there.

You are just the cutest thing. Completely oblivious to everything.

Like I said in your other thread. Major concussions can take weeks to months to recover from. I even said the Panthers should consider IR him instead of rising further damage. Concussions are never a sure thing so they are playing it week to week. There is nothing more that can be disclosed. So if you can take your head out of your ass for 5 minutes and read that you will be better off. You operate under the assumption that everyone but you thinks that Luke will be back before we know it. Anyone who knows anything about concussion knows this isn't the case.

So take a seat fam and enjoy the ride. It might be a while before we see Luke and most of us are okay with that.

Once again, I would be smitten if that were to happen.

I really am not trying to dip my toe in this intriguing debate, but I'm curious as to why you would post a position that is clearly inflammatory to the rest of the forum and then proceed to say you hope your assumptions don't come to fruition?

why not just post that you hope your gut feelings are wrong in one of the other eleventy-million Luke threads?

You were overreacting and being an idiot. It's just football and you have no control over this poo. Luke has a concussion. Those take time to heal. It doesn't matter if it's one week or 10. They have nothing to hide and have no obligation to tell anyone how long he will be out. Let me spell this next part out to people in bold, large font:

They don't know how long he'll be out because concussions aren't something to fug with and recovery time varies from person to person far more than an injured leg or arm. The severity of his concussion determines how long he is out not the initial diagnosis. The reason there's a protocol to follow with this BRAIN INJURY is that they can't give a specific timetable like other injuries. That's why every week he sees the doctor again so he can find out if he's healthy enough to resume smashing his face against other people's faces. When he's ready, he'll be back. No sooner no later. Deal with it.

I just don't understand why everyone is concerned about being "right" up in this bitch. I've been wrong plenty of times and I've owned up to it. It's not about calling something first to rub it in someones face. All that does is stroke your own ego. Be happy with your life outside the Panthers and you won't have to rely on the idea that you were right about some guy's head injury to get you through the day.
