Have We Really Beaten Anyone?

So now the Huddle is so pessimistic that they want to play Six Degrees to Kevin Bacon to say our 4-0 record is worse than any of the other undefeated teams.

You guys need to attend a Positive Thinking Seminar....I swear, I am amazed that many of you have not killed yourselves already based on how pessimistic and depressing your posts are (not that I want anyone to kill themselves).

Here's my point, it's not who we beat, but what we beat them with.  Name me one other 4-0 team that lost their top receiver, best defensive lineman, and best defensive player (and arguably best defensive player in the NFL).  No one in the NFL has weathered injuries as well as we have and that is a fact.  If we're a 4-0 team with these injuries, my guess is when we're healthy we're a pretty damn good team.

I am also getting tired of this argument. Kelvin's out for the season, CJ is out until December, and Luke still has not been cleared (hopefully, any day now). WE ARE A PRETTY DAMN GOOD TEAM RIGHT NOW! Any team is 1 or 2 injuries away from total chaos.. Would ATL be around if Julio went down for the season? I doubt it.Keep pounding and Keep winning!!

We've beaten everyone they've scheduled us to play so far. This is the NFL, not the WWE ... we can't just sneak attack the Patriots on their practice field and go four quarters on them.

 

That would be pretty wild if you got one surprise game a year... Danged Patriots would bring in a folding metal chair every time, though.

Yeah the teams we beat are 4-12....had they all beaten the Panthers they would be 8-8. I'm sooooooooo fuging tired of that excuse. It's the media trying anything they can to undermine the success we have had so far. I really don't understand why the media has this bias against us. I say fug them all and just keep on winning. They have to recognize us sooner or later.

We can only beat what's been put in front of us, and so far, our guys have gone out there and won. The only thing we could ask for more is Cam throwing for three or four hundred yards, with a perfect QB rating; and Jonathan Stewart rushing like he did last season. But other than that, our guys have done whatever it takes to win. Not always been flashy, but they've certainly been effective.

Next four games are pivotal. They'll test how "legit" this team is, though one could argue the only games that really matter are the play offs, and it doesn't matter how we get there, all that matters is we do. Don't get me wrong, I want us to win every game, but what really matters starts in January. And we've taken four steps closer to getting there...
