Josh Norman will be franchised tagged, traded,or extended.I can't phantom DG letting an asset of that nature walk for zilch.

CJ on the other hand needs to be paid in full and offered a team friendly deal or browse greener pastures

Week five of the season and we're already talking about showing some vets the door.

How about we let them play out the games ahead before we start throwing them into the chipper/shredder? Sounds like a bunch of you guys would like the stadium announcer to welcome each of them onto the field to the refrain of "Dead Man Walkin'!"

Guy tweaks his hamstring and you guys are circling him like buzzards waiting on a buffet. How about we save this until after the Super Bowl?

From here on out I would rather we stick with young cheap RBs with fresh legs. Even if CAP does a great job during his rookie contract, if he wants a big contract I'd rather let him walk. Just keep reloading with young RBs who can be obtained later in the draft.

..if you have an Oline you can do that....

Except it's not just year.  He's been having issues and looking like he's falling apart for 2-3 years.   Everyone always said he was the reason Hardy was successful that last year or two but I'm pretty it was the other way around.  He's not worth what he's making, not even close and he won't be next year unless he gets a more friendly deal, which I doubt happens.

Sadly, Star is looking like another guy that is getting crushed with injury issues.  I wouldn't give him a big contract unless he proves he can play an extended period.

Short/Norman should be the priorities.   We're going to look like idiots for letting Hardy walk, as expected unfortunately.  We'll definitely be taking DE in the first round next year, or at least the second.

I would love for CJ to take a paycut but leaves a pretty lavish life more than anybody on the team even Cam. Not confident he would go for that.

He'll be getting paid less no matter what, as it will likely be either take a pay cut or get cut.  I think it will come down to whether he wants to make less in Charlotte or somewhere else, especially since another team might pay him more than Gettleman is willing to offer.

I'm not sure if it is just injuries, or if those injuries didn't come about from getting the big money and being a star player, if you know what I mean. He does need to be producing a lot of more for the money he's getting now and he's certainly not as dominant as he once was. Maybe he will come back onto the field with a vengeance, maybe not. His longevity is pretty much in his hands, both for quality of play and for affordability. If not, there are some younger and cheaper alternatives that we can work with and coach up.

I just don't think it is as hard to find a pass rushing end as it once was. And with so many 3-4 teams out there, we may see a glut in the market for guys who specialize in being 4-3 ends.

That being said, I am not the least bit worried about us missing Hardy this year. I'd rather have DeAngelo Williams back (at much lower wages) than Hardy. At least with Williams you'd not have to worry about some stupid off field issue knocking him off the team for the better part of the season.

Star, man, I sure hope he gets back into the swing of it. He's got so much potential and when he can play, he impacts the game in a big way. But injuries to people his size tend to really be serious. I hope we're not seeing Otah part two.

Pick a DE first or second round of the 2016 draft. Hopefully Delaire is the real deal and Cox is going to develop. Addison will still be here I think Alexander's boat may have sailed. Hopefilly  C.J will just hang it up and open that restuarant he wants. He has made plenty of scratch. I doubt D.G will even consider 11 millon dollars for his services. The writing is on the wall.

He, Stewart, and Tolbert are definite goners after this season. Hope he comes back great for one last playoff push.

Tolbert?!?  why? I love that guy. I agree that $3,425,000 is a lot, but he won't get that next year. If another team is willing to pay that much...BRING BACK WARD!!
