If Cotch is back for Seattle who gets cut, if anyone?

If Cotch does come back active, I want him to take Corey Browns place. That would be what I would want. I have not seen much at all of Brown. BUT I know that the coaching staff won't do that. Now me saying that Philly is going to have an amazing game against Seattle. You're welcome everybody!

I don't think Cotch will be back for Seattle.  Old bones take longer to heal.  I say we keep Norwood on for that game, and if he doesn't contribute, we send him back down to the PS where he was before.  Bersin should get the nod over him if he isn't contributing by Week 7.

I knew cotch was still on the roster, hence I said if anyone. I was just exploring the fact that when he gets healthy we will have an extra available receiver that we didnt have going into the season and one less (all be it mostly useless) TE. The only PS TE we have however is Simonson and I doubt he is ready to contribute yet, but I suppose we will see. Zod, if you see this how has Simonson looked in practice?

I'm sure no GM wants to cut a guy. But it has to happen.

It's not that you want to cut guy, but we are playing to win. If Norwood can't help that right now, bye. Say hi to the practice squad. His turn might come again this year. Who do you propose we cut?

Yeah really. It's cut someone or not bring Cotch back.

Norwood seems like the safe choice if he's eligible. Hasn't had a target since week 2, and we've lost receivers since then.

Simple.

Cotchery comes back and you deactivate either Bersin or Norwood.

Next game is Seattle.  Norwood may actually have some purpose there as he knows the Seattle DBs better than anyone on our roster.

Going forward the last spot probably comes down to practice and matchups.

Need Brown.  If Ginn goes down you need at least one person who can pretend to play WR that can actually run fast.   That is why Brown is active IMO each week.  Play a game without Ginn or Brown and it alters opposing defenses.  We have zero over the top threat.  Philly at least presents the threat even if he can't catch
