.....Beats the living daylights out of teams and the look on their faces as we pile up points and interceptions is glorious.

Just rewatch the preseason game against New England... thats the team that is playing right now and has been retooled.

Cam is getting a precious extra 2 seconds to throw the ball and some really excellent protection schemes.

Watching Teams gameplan around stopping olsen instead to see 50 yard bombs by some no name receivers...

HAHAHAHHA...

Cant wait for the Hawks and see Wilson getting demolished.

Cherrys got to get popped and yeah we will pop it.

Frankly - i really think we can beat every team on our schedule - EVERY TEAM like 16 - 0

It wasn't raining the entire game and that is besides the point.

The point was Olsen was shut down but we didn't get the 50 yard bombs he was raging about. Nor iave I seen us beat the living daylights out of teams other than the bucs. The previous 3 games were classic cardiac cats from what I remember.

i am still tempering expectations until a few games after the bye, since our season really is just about to start for real. that said, i thought about your above statement on sunday. it struck me a few times just how good Cam's pass protection was against the bucs. there was one point where my brain even used the word forever to describe how long Cam had a clean pocket. i forget when it was, but i was thinking Damn, Cam has had forever to throw this ball.

I don't think OP necessarily meant beating the living daylights out of teams on the scoreboard.  More like after your team plays us; you're players are gonna need a little longer than usual to recover.  Talking tough, hard nosed, hit you in the mouth football.  Think there was even a thread started about this after the HOU game I think it was?

    • "Two seasons in Carolina have brought similar team-wide frustrations -- compounded by injuries and other personnel limitations -- but effort from [Ejiro] Evero's players is never an issue. Under first-year HC Dave Canales in 2024, Evero is effectively the head coach of the defense. He has trained under great coordinators, including Vic Fangio and Dom Capers, giving him a unique blend of perspectives. And interest in the league hasn't waned: Evero has interviewed for eight head-coaching jobs over the past two cycles, earning second interviews with the Colts, Falcons, Panthers, Seahawks and Texans." - Tom Pelissero, NFL Network
    • 7-8 touches including passes. 50 yards between them. One nice gain somewhere  Sanders has been getting around 4 carries per game and maybe 3 targets.  I am curious to see if they run two back sets this week, I think they will just wondering if they dig into it a little.
    • Wouldn't expect much. KC's run D is stout and we'll probably be playing from behind.
