Calvin Johnson fumbled the ball at the goal line (thanks to Chancellor) but KJ Wright tapped the ball out of bounds -- which is illegal. The backline judge saw the entire thing transpire but he claimed it was inadvertent.

yeah, that picture is condemning evidence. 

Im growing tired of the horrible officiating.

The Seahawks obsession amongst our fans is ridiculous. There are fuging 56 Seahawks threads right now in a Panthers forum. What in the actual fug? 

 

And, hate more than our division rivals? That is insane.

We've played the Seahawks for like 4 years straight. Twice last year. They've barely beaten us every time besides the playoff game. Plus that 2005 NFCCS game.

They WERE a division rival once. When you're the best team in the division, who else is there left to hate? 

The Seahawks are a rival. They're scared every time they play us because they know... The time is now... They are done. We're gonna put the nail in their coffin.

Something about that whole god forsaken team irks me, im not going to deny it, yes the fact they beat us has a little to do with it but it goes deeper than that. I think RW and T3bow are cut from the same, fake christian, attention whoring cloth.. How that team NEVER get calls from refs, how the refs LITERALLY gave them two wins by breaking the rules, once against Green Bay and tonight. 

I hate Richard Sherman with a passion and dont get me started on that selfish, sack of poo, me first, hold out Kam Chancellor. Convenient, he comes back against the worst team in the NFL. Oh, speaking of Christian, lets ask RW what his god says about divorce.. 

They are LUCKY not good, two SBs be damned. Broncos, Patriots, Packers.. THOSE are teams that are legitmately good teams, not the flukey, lucky Seahawks. Im sorry, I know its a unwritten commandment.. "Thou shall not hate another team more than a division rival." But im sorry, I cannot muster the same disdain, loathsome hate for the NFCs like I do for the Seahawks.

This game will be decided on the field. 

Respect the Seahawks, I guarantee you the Panthers do. That's why we play them so tough.

What makes this even worse is it should have been ruled a safety for the Lions and then flagged for intentional batting. The safety is a scoring play and should have been reviewed in the final 2 minutes.

In case anyone is not familiar with the rules of a safety here is the rule.

"It is a safety if the offense commits a foul in its own end zone; or when an impetus by a team sends the ball behind its own goal line, and the ball is dead in the end zone in its possession or the ball is out of bounds behind the goal line."

This has nothing to do with offense or defense. If a team team's player causes the ball to cross their goal line then there are only 2 outcomes. Safety or Touchdown in favor of the team that did not force the ball into the end zone.

If the ball were fumbled and laying motionless at the 1 yard line and a defender were to slide and hit it into the end zone and then recover it in the end zone, then the defensive team would give up a safety.

Whoever creates the impetus of the ball going into the end zone is the team charged with a safety. Calvin Johnson did not fumble the ball into the end zone, the fumble occurred at the 1-yard line and the force driving the ball into the end zone was created by Kam.

That make it even worse by the officials and the crew responsible for reviewing plays in the last 2 minutes. They screwed up twice on one play at the end of the game that determined the outcome.

There are no stats for almost wins.  Until we beat them the Seahwaks own our ass.  I feel like if we can beat them 1 time that's the last mental hurdle to being a championship team.  They are like the Bad boy Piston Team to our Bulls.  When we finally beat them it's gonna be beautiful.  ESPECIALLY IN THAT STADIUM....

I typically struggle seeing offensive holds in real time but after tonight's game there's one thing I'm sure of:  that Seahawk OLine is holding for days.  It's embarrassing that the refs will throw flags for ticky tack bullshit but can't get the right call made when it's time to actually do their job.

did they ever start calling holding cause jesus christ they were getting away with holding guys for like 5 secs or more and not getting called
