Question For My Fellow iPhone Users...

So over the weekend my iPhone met it's untimely demise thanks to water damage. I have AppleCare+, and it's supposed to be only a deductible $99 to have it replaced. However, I've heard numerous tales about people getting free replacements. I figured I would pick the brain of the huddle collective to see if anyone has gotten a free replacement, and if so, what did you do to get it?

Depends on how much damage. If water got on the water sensor. 

 

And buy a catalyst case. Waterproof down to 5m so people in SC can still take selfies in their living room. I got mine for the 2m drop protection, you know cause they still let PU start threads
