The Devin Funchess "drop"

If the ball hits you DIRECTLY in BOTH of your hands, in stride, and you're not having to be a ballerina to go up and get it, the throw is not the problem. Was the throw perfect? No, it wasn't. Was it well enough placed that it should have been caught? Yes. Was it an outright drop? No, it was partly a great play by the defender.

I get bent up over this because you act like you know what you're talking about when you display, repeatedly, that you have no idea what you're talking about.

lol

If that is in stride, I quit.  There is 5 yards between him and the hash defender yet Cam "placed" it on his back knee so it wouldn't get intercepted, even though it allows the trail defender to make a play on it.  I literally can't even right now.

Perhaps you should stop shitposting about this, and listen to the Huddle Podcast with Devin Funchess.

His exact words on the incompletion: "the ball hit my hands, I should have caught it".

Oh that settles it.  What did you expect him to say?  It is what it is.

Hmm, so you'll argue on his behalf for several posts, but when presented with an actual quote from the player himself on the matter, it means nothing? Interesting.

I'm not arguing on his behalf at all.  Even if he catches it, it's still not a good throw.

It doesn't make it a good throw because he didn't throw Cam under the bus.  Go to any pee wee practice and those neanderthal coaches are telling kids if it hits their hands they have to catch it, doesn't mean those QBs make good throws.

poo, Jimmy Clausen said he was the greatest draft pick we ever made.  Jimmy said on twitter he had a GF and got roasted for 5 days straight.  TB linebacker is the best takedown artist in football.  The good old "vote of confidence" for head coaches.  Fighters constantly say they are the best in the world.  Floyd's next fight is always his toughest opponent ever.  Jerry Jones believes Weeden is a good thrower of the football.  None of those things are true.

You're better than that.

I don't see what any of that random rambling has to do with what he said.

Anyways, the throw wasn't 100%, but as Devin stated, he got his hands on it. He has to make plays for his QB, that's his job, perfect throw or not. He'll improve, it's just going to take time.
