Should the Panthers make any moves over the bye week?

Don't be down on Funchess or Norwood yet. Norwood been inactive and its not fair to say he can't catch yet. Funchess is a rookie we were spoiled by KB and Funch is doing what a rookie WR usually does.

I also don't think they've used Funchess well with his skill set. I haven't seen a good jump ball for him like we gave KB all last year.

If we do something it won't be exciting because even if you disagree the front office believes the WR we have now are doing well enough to win so why break the bank or a draft pick to fix it.

Not down on Funch and Norwood because of anything they have or haven't done, but the fact that the staff obviously believes that the current guys who are out there are better options at this point speaks volumes.  They suck (right now).  Hopefully they'll develop.

KB had a fugton of drops last year, but he also had a bunch of good games because we were force feeding him the ball. Why aren't we doing the same with Funchess? This is the perfect time to force the former Michigan star to be the baller he was in school. Its far too soon to give up on him.

Literally the slowest man in football coming into our offence sounds like the worst idea ever.

Would immediately help in the redzone which is a skillset literally none of our healthy receivers have. But I wouldn't want us to trade anything for him.

If we force fed the ball to Funch through the first 4 games, Cam would have 10 interceptions and we'd be 0-4. He is not even close to where he needs to be. It'll take time, we knew that from the beginning.

It'd likely be around what we gave up for Allen. If you arent willing to part with that to truly bolster this team then I don't know what to tell you.

We saw players failing to produce on the defensive side of the ball and we refused to stand for it. I like tnat. Now i'd like to see us do it on the other side of the ball.

It would take $5.5M of our cap space this year. And he wouldn't bolster anything. Can't be compared to Allen at all.

Oh noes not our cap space!!

And youre right, just like james jones, michael crabtree, brandon marshall, or an endless list of other names, no players are out there that have ever been an improvement to One Catch Corey.

youve got such a great track record with that argument bro! Keep saying it!
