In fairness. One season doesn't prove one right or wrong. So I want to be fair to Kaepernick there.

However, if your friend actually watched both QB's played (even factoring in homerism) he would have never held such a strong position. Because it was clear to anyone with two serviceable eyes, that Kaepernick was a jittery one read QB, who was a product of his system and Head Coach. He's just doesn't appear comfortable in the pocket, unless there's a lot of space in front of him (and even then, he may run for the yards).

Because a long time ago we had to deal with media folks talking about how Kaepernick and Griffin were going to run the league and leave Cam in the dust while all they worried about with Newton was why he had a towel over his head.

Meanwhile the Huddle knew that RG3 was ruined before he could get started, and Kaepernick was a one-read QB on a loaded roster with an incredible coach who would be figured out by the NFL in no time. And that's exactly what happened.

Sweet, sweet comeuppance.

Fuggers have no business getting outraged when Kaeperdick mocked Cam's Superman celebration in the playoff game win 2013 season at home in Carolina.  That is when Kaeperdick earned his new moniker with me and I am laughing now to have proof that he was the product of Jim Harbaugh's system and coaching…not that great after all.

I love how bad it has gotten: the broadcast team was touting how much confidence the front office has in Blane Gabbert.  Keep in mind they did just extend Colin K..so...it's not so good Al.

He looked HORRIBLE. I always said he couldn't compare to Cam, no pocket presence, inaccurate, no touch, can't read defenses, weird mechanics. He deserves what's happening to him for being a dick also . Maybe he can be our practice squad qb when he's released in a yr or two
