Bersin four catches for 54 yds

I tend to agree with you, but my limited observation in games seems to lead me to think less of him in the "reliability" department. He does seem to find a crucial play when you really need it, and I think he is smart, and very cool headed. Which I like. I think he deserves a spot on the roster.

He doesn't play that many snaps, but when he does, he is sure handed.. like Philly said, he's used properly.. no screens.. that's not what he does

I'm not surprised he's able to get 54 yards receiving with the sheer amount of reps he's getting, but this is a breakout game for someone of his caliber, much like Ted Ginn had a breakout game last week and almost had 100 yards. The fact of the matter is that in the future we must improve our WR depth. You're not going to beat every team with 125 passing yards. It just isn't going to happen.

It's an indictment of this offense that he's asked to make catches.  And an indictment of him that 4 catches for 54 yards was his huge breakout game.  But with the state of our WR corps, I'm more than happy to keep trotting him out there for the time being.  In all honesty, he's probably our 2nd or 3rd best WR at the moment...

The thing about Bersin is that every time someone writes him off, he goes out and proves he has value as a dependable receiver who knows the routes, has good hands and is willing to go across the middle of the field. I even saw him in on special teams coverage.

I saw more people cheering on the nearly useless Brandon Williams over the years than Bersin. Something's just out of whack there.

Glad he's back, hope he keeps producing for us.

And let's face it, if your #3 wide receiver can get you 40-55 yards per game, you've got a keeper.
