I didn't even think he looked that bad. He did look slow but I'd attribute that to confusion on some defensive plays and the humidity in Tampa today.

More unimpressed by AJK! Much of Tampa's success was directed at the area of the AJ. AJ seems to be lost, getting handled, or missing tackles all the time.

I hope Allen improves, but I noticed a lack luster effort on a number of plays. The Allen I remember was like the Energizer Bunny. 

People here can make excuses, but he looked slow with zero explosion. I know it's one game, but his lack of effort left me shocked at times.

I also saw he had limited snaps. 

He's also coming from playing a 3-4, and hadn't even been here a week. 

 

To many got high expectations, so of course your  disappointed, cause you set yourself up for it.

Allen didn't do much but he will also need to put on more weight to play DE instead of LB....he could stand to add 10-15 more pounds and we may not see too much from this pickup until next year or near the end of the season honestly.

I don't think he's done but I do think he would benefit from training from day 1 of the season as a DE...he'll be coming off the bench next year and probably when CJ comes back so that's not a bad guy to have in rotation.
