Just remember, before CJ's injury, our DEs weren't exactly the second coming of Peppers and Rucker. Against three lower end offensive lines, we've really not put up any real pressure.

Mario Addison is the only Panther with more than one sack on the books so far. 

Going into the season, everyone was talking about the power and performance of our front four. They were kind of playing like paper tigers, though. The new additions shouldn't hurt and I hate to throw shade at CJ, but Big Money has played down each year since he got that big contract.

Don't hate on Foucault too much he has alot to overcome coming from Canada and being a 2nd year rookie. Every one expects guys we have to be pro bowlers year one like we figured out something no other team in the NFL has. Jumping to the he sucks category so fast is short sighted and ignorant. Either he gets better or doesn't but as long as the front office thinks he has potential just cool your jets and see what happens.

Can't blame Amini on DG, but he's legit open for criticism on EK.

Sometimes I don't understand these "small school" picks.  Yeah, there's some legit players at those levels but VERY FEW because they are playing at that level for a reason.

And the players in the SEC, B1G, PAC, etc?  THEY are playing at THAT level for a reason.

Yeah, don't stop scouting the small schools cuz there may be the rare player that could help you.  The key term there, though, is RARE.

The thing is those rare players were either first recruited by the big schools or got in trouble or didn't get the grades so they had to go to a smaller school.. super rare to find a good nfl player that was ignored the entire time in high school to college.

Btw how did Horton decline so much this year? He was our starter all last year. He was alright, nothing special. However this year he just went to complete poo.

I'm sure we aren't depending on Foucault for anything more than a backup. He got some good game-day experience last season and he's a physically imposing and very large mammal. 

Not only was Foucalt the top pick in the Canadiens league, but he was a great student and has plenty of smarts, so he does have upside, just hope we don't have to count on him to be effective at the NFL-level quite yet, though I'm sure he's improved since we last saw him play.

what's the over/under of the number of Linemen (both DL and OL,) drafted in the 2016 draft? I'm saying 3 in the first 5-rounds. 

If a coveted OT or DE is there at our 1st pick, we'll take the BPA at one of those positions...same thing in the 2nd. Our third rounder will be a safety, imo. Maybe a G in the 4th and a RB in the 5th. 6th will probably be our conditional pick going to the Bears for the Allen trade and a fullback in the 7th.

The only thing that makes it ok is that it was Hurney who drafted him. God we should have brought in dave after Cams rookie season, We would be in a better position this year. Its ok though because as Ive said, 2016 and 2017 is when our window becomes wide open.
