KK to be Great

Recommended Posts

Spoon wanted the money dude.  He left Carolina because he thought he could be a mike and get paid mike money elsewhere (which he did).

It would have been a mistake to have kept Spoon IMO at the price it would have taken.

actually it was NOT the money.  We offered Spoon the same amount of money that SL did.  He left because he wanted to play MLB.

Whats up with this star misses games meme? players get hurt, the guy only has missed 4 games and looks good right now. If he plays the rest of the year he will have only missed 2 games this year, not bad considering how big the guy is. Short is great, but star stops the run in its tracks. Id take him if I could only have one. Just use the eye test. Star is fuging massive.

"No, I'm saying he potentially has health problems after having two separate foot issues within a year at 300+ pounds.  Foot issues often become chronic in huge people.  One?  Not necessarily a big deal.  Two?  Hmmm...  Three?  Yikes."

I read a doctor discussing Star's most recent injury a while back, and he said that stress reactions are common in people that have recently broken a bone in their foot.  He said it usually means that they just came back before it was completely ready.  So, if they give it proper time to heal, the stress reaction should not be an issue in the future.

That's why I'm glad the team gave him the extra couple of weeks to let it heal, rather than get him back on the field for the first game like many said was possible.  So, as long as he is truly healed up (and the way he is playing, and lack of news about any setbacks, I assume he is), I don't think he will have chronic foot problems.  It seems the second injury was a direct result of the first, and both typically heal up fine, without any future problems...even with big guys.

By the way, this quote function is still really screwy!

I like KK a lot, but Aaron Donald?  No.  Donald is making a case for him to be in consideration for being called the best DT in football.

God this guy again. Smh I guess you can't read. I said KK reminds ME of Aaron Donald which he does. I said nothing about KK playing as good as him right now did I? No I didn't. They both are very good at rushing the passer. KK is super versatile on the line. He can play multiple positions. They are both destined for success in this league. If you can't agree with that then idk what to tell you

If health is not a concern then I would pick Star.  He makes me think of how the old Ravens had Siragusa and Adams clogging the line so Ray Lewis could run around and do whatever he wanted.  Star does that for our guys.

We will keep both though so it does not matter
