Welp, so much for that underdog role we love..

It was fun being underdogs in 2013 against good teams like Patriots, 49ers, and Saints. Everyone recognized us as "good" but never enouenenough to respect us vs. those top teams. Of course the "underdog" role got old last season when we couldn't win a game for half the season.

Whatever, I hope we're favorites from here on out.

I never get why people want the underdog role or "flying under the radar". We as a fan base needs to up our standards. I want my team to be favored every week. That means we are handling our business. I'm sure players want recognition and would be insulted as being the underdog

Hate the underdog role.  want that taken names and kicking ass role.  Rather be expected to win every week.

couldn't be spoken any more true. If we can keep this core of players and keep drafting like we do...by "core," I'm including Luke, Cam, Kk, Norman, Olsen, TD, Shaq, Turner, Kalil, Norwell, KB and Bene', we will always be in the hunt and hard to pick against.

TD will retire soon but I believe Shaq will be a seamless replacement when that day comes. So we should be looking for another OLB (whether it be in FA or in the draft,) and I'm sure we'll continue to build through the draft.

We're so fortunate to have a GM like Gettleman and a team that understand defense wins championships but still be able to keep the chains moving on offense with a #keep_pounding motto.

The future is certainly bright.

    • Soooo many bad turnovers again. Luckily Martin played well.
    • Yes. Cade 100% tripped and pitched it to Mafah.  That’s not in dispute.  We agree on that.  Mafah got the ball, fell to the ground and then attempted to complete the rest of the play….which was the lateral to the WR on the end around.  You are calling the lateral from Mafah to the end around WR the ball popping up.   It was whistled dead.   Then they ran another play.  the review then awarded the ball to SC after we ran another play for what happened after a play was whistled dead.   How does that part work lol?  How do you recover a ball if a play was whistled dead for a downed player prior to a recovery?  I think the refs screwed Clemson twice.   That’s not why they lost.  Please don’t think that is my argument.   They lost because Cade chocked and panicked at the end.  They lost because Sellers should have been put on the ground for a loss countless times and they didn’t.  They lost because our over loyal Dabo wouldn’t bench his favorite hurt RB.    Clemson lost for lots of reasons. SC deserved to win.  Those calls were bad though IMO.  They exist in every game.
    • I can’t recall an NBA team with this many injuries.  It’s getting absurd at this point
