you don't agree with my assessment that you getting basic facts wrong hurts your credibility? How's that?

I don't work in your business. You don't work in mine. But to quibble over the basic concept of attention to detail not contributing to credibility does not hold water.

I've never bothered to look at your stuff before but I gave you my time to look at it this time. When, in the first 2 minutes, I see glaring lack of attention to detail, the rest of the analysis sounds exactly like those outlets that know nothing about this team.

This isn't about a 2000 person staff. It's about you trying to sell me on my time investment listening to what you have to say...i.e..clicks which theoretically you would push for money from advertisers eventually.

I'm not hating on what you're doing. I'm simply pointing out that mistakes, especially unnecessary ones, cost you in clicks. You are constantly auditioning for more eyes. A lack of attention to detail will cost you clicks in the future.

Perhaps I'm oversensative to a lack of attention to detail because I'm in the military but I would think a burgeoning business model would welcome that critique and take it and improve.

The alternative is to argue on the Internet and lose potential viewers. Take hard lessons in training so major mistakes aren't made when bullets fly.

You can make your comments, never said you couldn't..if I didn't take critiques, my channel wouldn't have grown from 0 to 4.6 million organic & authentic views since 2009. I wouldn't have had both coaching & color-commentary opportunities and I wouldn't be a co-host on a syndicated college football show on ESPN & CBS Sports Network radio affiliates. So, critique is always consider...I'm trying to tell you that I pick and choose what's beneficial and what's obnoxious. For instance ... :)

And to be completely honest, I've said this before, but Carolina Huddle has been HUGGGGGEEEE in my growth as an analyst and improving my product. These guys have ALWAYS given me both positive support and feedback and are some of my highly viewed team videos. That's why I enjoy posting here. Bad or good, it's honest.

Hey Em I do appreciate the effort it takes to make these, especially if you cover every game every week. Small stuff gets thru the cracks and hey no big deal. But we are dedicated on the Huddle, and when those couple small things led into the larger thing about ASJ, ugh. I wasn't mad at you for getting it wrong, just disappointed because I know you normally do better than that. I do hope to see more of your work on here and if I came across as an a-hole instead of constructive critic, I'm sorry for that. #KeepPounding

Nah I can't agree w/that assessment....you see major networks w/staffs over 2,000 people working on an NFL segment f-up basic ish, like I did with the record. Hard earned credibility is not 'lose-able' on an 8-min video on a Thursday. That means I never had the 'credibility' in that person's eye. The difference is that I'm not on TV or a major satellite radio station. If I were, the benefit of the doubt would be given...nevermind that the content is really what I'm 'selling'. There's no excuse for the f-ups, but for a virtually one-man, one-camera, one-editing outfit, I'll put FBGP up against anything major right now w/full confidence. You're definitely entitled to your opinion and assessment. it's appreciated and  It's all good though.

You actually never had credibility in my eye, but only because I'm new here and this is the first video I have seen of yours. With things like this, we are only as good as our last product. And yes, one can lose credibility in an instant (ask Brian Williams).

Nobody is perfect, but when somebody finds a typo or something in your work, it's best to just to say "oops, my bad" and move on. All this extra explanation looks like you are trying to convince us to accept mistakes and mediocrity, which would disappointing because I'm sure you have set a higher standard for your work.

That being typed, I will watch your next video because I consume all things Panther, but I hope this isn't a trend.
