I think that it absolutely will, they are setting her up to be a "on call" super hero, teaming up with the neighbor and her best friend/sister.

I don't think you can really compare this to Daredevil in a lot of ways becasue even though its all marvel and exist in the same world they really are trying to do different things. JJ wanted to be more of psychological thriller it wasnt about the pure action and fight scenes Daredevil was.

Honestly, I just ran out of steam on it.  Didn't even get through the next to last episode of season 1, just fired it back up since JJ is done.

Reverse is true for me. I loved everything Daredevil and binged both seasons in less than a week. I can't get past episode three of Jessica Jones before turning it off wanting to do something else.

Keep pushing, it gets better, Kilgrave takes the cake in this one.....was everything that VDO wasn't.

Personally loved Fisk. His relationship with Vanessa felt real and genuine to me. The part when he killed his dad. Put the whole character into perspective for me and a weird part of me was rooting for him. That's good story telling and acting to me. I'm just bored watching Jessica Jones.
