lol at any of you that think we could cut Philly and he would clear waivers.  Speedy receiver with starting experience and a ton of upside.  Yeah.

lol at people thinking we would cut a receiver when we are already so thin there. Especially a starter. Huddlers got their thinking caps on today

He was sick.  Panthers sent him home to avoid getting others sick.

felt ill when he awoke Wednesday. After receiving some medical treatment at Bank of America Stadium, Brown was sent home to recover and to keep his distance from teammates.[.quote]

To my knowledge, Brown has only dropped one pass in a real game this year.  He has been better in that regard than Ginn.   He made a couple of really impressive catches against the Texans.

Deserved or not, thanks to the preseason he now has a rep as a pass dropper, and he'll have to erase that by hanging onto the ball consistently.

To some perhaps, but imo he can drop every preseason ball as long as he catches them in games that matter.

It is interesting how these things come about though.  I said he dropped one, but according to espn stats, he has dropped none while Ginn has dropped four out of 22 targets.  In fact, he leads our team percentage wise when comparing percentage of targets caught.

His biggest problem this year seems to be getting open, or perhaps its combination of not getting open, or not being found when he is open.  I am hoping that he gets better at that as he gains more experience.

He is open.  Cam has lost confidence in him and no longer throws his way.

I seriously doubt that is true.  Certainly Cam showed no hesitation to throw to Brown in the first two games, and Brown caught just about everything thrown his way.  Actually I hope it isn't, because Ginn is second in the league in dropped passes this year, so that means Cam will begin to lose confidence in Ginn soon and stop throwing to him.

exactly!!!!  You are correct with this statement. I guess it makes for a better read when people just make jokes instead of looking at the facts.  I've said it before I could care less about anything he did in the pre-season we just need to continue to win football games. Anyone would be crazy to think that he is going to catch every single pass this season but I will say that he has been consistantly catching the ball during the regular season.

He hasn't had a single drop this year.
