Let's talk about Tampa some...

Tampa's run D has not been good, at least to this point. Only Cleveland and Miami have given up more yds. on the ground. If we can't control the ball with a good rushing game, it may be a long afternoon and a bad sign for the rest of the season.

I thought our run game would get back on track vs NO but again the box was stacked. But since Cam had such a great game, perhaps that will force TB to respect the air threat. Certainly some opening series air attacks will help that. I've been impressed with Shula this year...specifically his opening few sequences.

The only ones taking this game lightly are probably PU and some other huddlers on here.  I seriously doubt the players or anyone on the coaching staff is taking anything lightly.  We've got way too many good character guys on our squad for ish like that to be happening.

If Jared Allen can have an immediate impact pressuring Jameis I think we will win. If we let Jameis sit back and get comfortable- it could be a really close game. Tampa Bay is not as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

Rivera hates Lovie, I mean some serious bad blood.  We might kill Winston this game.

we will see this throughout the season without a bonifide #1 receiver. Cam is going to have to win games with his arm a lot this year methinks.

I agree but if we can hurt a few teams early with the air attack I think that will have a real effect on the running game. Basically, I think we have to have successful passing days against BOTH TB and SEA in order for teams to actually respect it. Maybe not as tall an order for TB but SEA pass defense is legit. But if we can put up solid passing games against both of them, the rest of the teams will have to address it. We shall see.

Seattle is a completely different animal. While I don't think they are as dominant as years passed they are very physical. We lack a physical receiver to break through and they will blanket Greg. It's gonna be a long day for Cam especially if chancellor regains form.
