If it does, you can go to hell.  Colin Cole is a damn good player. 

What the fug? I'm not advocating for us to cut him and if he does get cut, I'm not the one making the decision. But he's been getting outplayed by all our other DTs and with Star back we don't need 5 interior. Love is outplaying him. Even though we added a DE in Allen, CJ is hurt so we still need depth there. Once CJ is back we could say bye to Horton and bring Cole back. Don't really see any other position where we can cut somebody, so he'd just be the odd man out. Horton or Cole is my best guess, but I'd lean towards Cole being the one with CJ out. MAYBE, just maybe, Bersin could go back to the PS if Norwood is up to speed enough to be on the active roster until Cotch is back, but I doubt that happens.

Not necessarily since CJ is out for a while. I do think it'll be D-line though and that's why I say Cole could be the odd man out with Star back and Love playing well.

Still think CJ stands to be put on IR, 'cause he's been hampered by that hammy for at least 2-seasons. For a player who relies on leverage and leg muscles to drive past OL, having a strained hammy makes you basically worthless...and some people just never recover 100% from a strained hammy.

Bersin is logical because he won't get picked up if we waive him again and he doesn't really see the field that much. We can't afford to cut a D linemen or someone in the secondary or linebacker so it has to come from the offense. Who else would you cut? I have nothing against Bersin as he is huge underdog. It is really who else is expendable at this point.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was Marlowe. They're not going to cut Brockel and only have 2 TEs. Amini is our backup LT currently?? Not a chance he's gone. Could be Velasco. Or Ben Jacobs since Mayo has looked good on ST

Wouldn't be surprised is Wes Horton gets cut when CJ healthy but we have to have 4 healthy DEs.  Need Colin Cole.for.depth even.though he will be inactive if the other 4 DTs are healthy.

Doubt we're cutting Brockel or Teddy Williams, teams need special teamers and cutting them would leave us pretty shallow at CB or TE. Plus Brockel is used a lot as a lead blocker. Bersin is also needed right now with Cotchery hurt and Funchess green. Likewise I don't see them moving any linemen until Daryl Williams is back. 

Still think Cole is on the bubble after losing his spot to Kyle Love (hence being inactive last week). He seems to make the most sense now that Star is healthy, unless they're willing to move on from a project player (Marlowe, Wegher, Mayo, Norwood).

Teddy is a bit of an enigma, he's good and terrible at the same time. At least he has value...unlike say Silatolu.

Unfortunately Amini is the backup LT right now. Understand your sentiment completely but no way he gets cut under these circumstances.

Oher may be the weak link in the OL but we better pray he stays healthy... Amini at LT could have us nostalgic for Byron Bell in a hurry

Its gotta be Horton or Cole, I hope its Horton cause I mean, god the guy obviously isn't going to get any better, at least Cole is an established veteran and could fill in for any one Star, Short, Love, Edwards. Horton seems to never find the field so Id rather let him walk. He could be put on PS too because I mean lets be real, no team is going to claim him off waivers.

Everyone saying Bersin, I dont think he can be cut yet. Seems like he has to stay x amount of weeks after a call up? I may be wrong but I feel like I read that. Also with Cotch out for awhile I doubt he goes anywhere. Lots of people hate on the guy but he catches nearly everything and is really aware of the first down marker.
