IDK if we're a Top 5 defensive unit, but I agree with everything else.  Our young stud DTs should allow him to go to work.

Certainly true at this time, I'm more thinking in terms of getting Luke back and Star settling in giving the D a boost.

Jared Allen is a consummate pro. He is in tremendous shape and will be of great benefit to us. Im excited. Even 15-20% over what an ailing CJ gave us and a returning Luke, will be special.

why would you want to pay him off? do you want a player on the team who can't pass a physical?
