Here's a scenario a lot of people will hate

In the light of yesterday's loss to the Panthers, a tinfoil hat wearing Saints fan speculated on the following possibility:

He suggested that if Chuck Pagano is gone from Indy after this year and the Saints part ways with Sean Payton, Payton could then wind up heading over from the NFC South to the AFC South to coach Luck.

I'd say the odds of that actually happening are extremely slim.

But could it happen?  Sure.

And oh, the blood vessels that would be popping over here if it did..

Payton is a good coach and would be out of the division and conference. It's more positive than negative. The only competition between Panthers and the Colts is the one that goes on in fans minds of Cam vs Luck.

I won't lie. I had that thought earlier today. If they keep losing and we keep winning would Smith want to come back for one last playoff run? He's retiring after the year anyway so I'm sure the Ravens wouldn't mind getting something for him rather than nothing and we definitely need some receiver help. It could be his last personal F you to Gettleman to show him up close and personal he's still got it and that means we get revenge Steve Smith for the rest of the year.
