Visiting NC, need help finding tickets!

My wife and I are in the military and stationed overseas and we are here visiting her family here in NC. I am from Jacksonville and a Jaguars fan (different conference, please don't hate me!) and I desperately want her to experience an opening day NFL game. We went to a Jaguar preseason game but to be honest even a regular season Jaguar game is a bit depressing these days from what I hear. I have found tickets on stubhub but one they are a bit expensive and two we are not guaranteed to get them in time. My question is this, are there tickets being sold outside of the stadium on gameday generally? I am torn between buying the tickets on stubhub and crossing my fingers or driving from Burlington to Charlotte and praying that someone is selling tickets for a decent price outside the stadium.....any help would be appreciated!

Dude- drive down, you will find tickets.

I would look on ebay tonight too- maybe you can get some dirt cheap and they meet you at the stadium.

But there WILL be a lot of tickets being sold outside.

Just come on down, go to the huddle tailgate across from the stadium and have the time of your life.

you WILL be pleased- i promise.

not to mention Dan Morgans pizza place is catering the tailgate!

check out the tailgate thread at the top for directions where to go .....

(if your standing outside the panthers team store at the stadium just walk left down the street and at the next big parking lot on the right find the tailgate!)

Are you facing the team store or is your back too it?

In response to your sig, pd, you need to take that kid to more games this year. I'm thinking ATL and NO in Charlotte and maybe make the trip to Dallas. Just sayin.

yeah, the little guy and me are making three games this year, and next year, his soon to be 3 year old brother will start coming. as a side note, have you ever had to deal with wrestless little ones during a game? not too much fun. too much on them at times, and too much for me as well. i think about around age 4 is a good age to start bringing the kids.

I hit the site in my sig first to see what the average price is for games, then I troll Craigslist sometimes....even if you wait until you get to the game, you need to have some idea of what you should pay...it changes from game to game
