over the past decade or so we've had much more success drafting DE's then CB's.  i'd rather keep J-No around and put our hopes in finding more good DE's in the draft.  And important to remember jury is still out on Ealy.  Disappointing start to his season but way too early to judge.  Not panicking about DE situation yet

Norman has done a great job over the last 10-12 games of shutting down an injured Julio Jones and QB greats Bortles, Mallet, McCown, etc. 

Let's see how he does against A. Rodgers, Luck, Dez Bryant, Julio (healthy), etc. 

 

When is Julio not injured?  He is injured and gimpy this season also.    So if Norman clamps him down again,  are you going to  continue to bitch about it not really counting since Julio was injured?

$7mil a year on a longterm deal is more than fair for a 28 year old CB with 1/2 season of production.

If dg is who everyone believes i think he will change the culture for us with drafting especially cb's and wr's,which we have failed to draft good at as a whole.

de is tricky, big money may not be here long and everyone keeps saying give kony time, i'm all for that but if were getting de's that won't be truly effective until their 3rd or final year in their rookie contract it seems almost pointless,

 

I think we can keep him for the right price everyone keeps overrating kk and star and how their contracts will be. Still want to see how josh fairs against elite qb's or above average ones
