Hochuli told Cam "You're not old enough to get that call"

“You’re not ‘old’ enough to get that call Cam. I’d give that call to an ‘old’ quarterback like Peyton Manning or Tom Brady or Andrew Luck or Ryan Tannehill or Nick Foles or Johnny Manziel, or Flacco, or Julian Edelman if they call his number for a passing play, but never to a ‘young’ guy like you or Michael Vick or Vince Evans or Warren Moon, Doug Williams, or Major Harris.

Now get the fug back in the huddle before I give you an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for menacing me and my family.”

Faulk, Sanders and Irvin discussing it.  Gist is that they all agree that Hochuli said "something" and don't believe Cam is making it up, based on Cam's reaction on the field to what Hochuli said.  They all say that even if it's not roughing the passer, like Blandino said, there IS a call for hitting a QB that's throwing on the run late (should have probably called it "late hit") though they didn't go so far as to say that a late hit SHOULD have been called.  Then Sanders and Irvin to a lesser extent go on to say that there is veteran preferential treatment and that there should be, which I wholly disagree with.  Like Irvin ended with, a foul is a foul.

Then Irvin and Sanders go off the Cam topic and start talking about how Sanders got veteran treatment on a play on Irvin 20 years ago.  I love those guys, I could listen to them talk football all day.  I disagree with them about the ethics of unfair officiating, but I love listening to them.

Can someone post a gif of the play? I keep searching but only see the aftermath of Cam looking up waiting for the flag. Didn't actually see the hit.

The broadcast didn't show the play because the camera guy went for the pump fake Cam did a few steps earlier. One of the 30 or so cameras in the stadium probably caught it but video hasn't been released yet.

At the game it seemed like a pretty obvious late hit call to me, but I was pretty drunk by that point.

Perhaps it was just a misunderstanding, but I don't think Cam would go out of his way to mention it publicly like that if he were uncertain about what was actually said. Particularly considering how he was genuinely taken aback by the whole thing, you can see the look on his face.

I was sitting up in 544 and the level of hatred toward Hochuli grew immensely as the game went on. When the 3rd quarter ended and he announced, "That's the end of the third quarter..." some dude yelled SHUT THE FUG UP ED! That was classic.

I was at home and I had a hard time even enjoying the game because I was so fuging mad at the officials.  There was either one of 2 things going on in that game, either blatant bias (looks really bad on the NFL), or total incompetency (Also looks really bad on the NFL).  I have a feeling that the answer is one of those 2, but the NFL "Will find no such proof of Hochuli saying this and he will be rewarded with a lifetime supply of bull steroids".  Honestly, The NFL isn't gonna fire Hochuli's dumb ass, and they won't even suspend him (too much of goodells semen in Ed's stomach for that to happen), I'd just move on with my life as long as they never let that asshole officiate another game involving the panthers.
