but but but... Donald LaFell!!!

yeah i was joking. i am happily devoted to my gf. she is doing better, but heavily medicated so take that with a grain of salt. she has an appointment next week to see Dr. Lytle, a neurologist in Asheville. they will decide on a course of treatment then. there's still a chance she will need brain surgery. but multiple people here on the Huddle from the Triad have told me that doctors have ways to access the affected part of her brain without open-skull surgery. that is encouraging. Thank God for modern medicine.

Has anyone set up a gofundme for you with all this going on?  I'd donate once I got back to my side of the country...

well, our current #1 was let go for not being good enough too....

and this isn't about Webb vs Bersin.  Webb can come in and catch late garbage balls.  Point was Williams vs Bersin....better options seems to keep the crazy freak talent  when given two meh options.  No one is talking about Webb coming in and being a factor....he could easily step in during beatings when we go 4 wide.  That is basically Bersin's role as the 4-5 in this offense

Oh yeah. Much better option to keep the athletic guy who's never accomplished anything over the guy who's actually done something.

I'm guessing you learned your scouting principles from Vinny Cerrato.

Why all the love for Bersin? He's not an NFL caliber player, and is the 5th receiver.

Need I remind you: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000420351/Cam-Newton-gets-intercepted-by-Corey-White

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap3000000453370/Punt-returner-Bersin-muffs-punt-Cardinals-recover

Oh, and to those pointing to Norwood's drop that caused the INT, that was a screwball and tough to catch. Bersin's was on a tight spiral right to his hands. That also had bigger implications on the game. If he catches that, Carolina is in decent position to put up some points. The muffed punt shows a low football IQ, and the drop shows poor mechanics as he jumps for no reason. Same way Jordan Matthews jumped and dropped that pass against the Falcons that stopped their comeback attempt.

I wish him all the best, but I expect absolutely nothing.

For Bersin, it's worth noting his 1st down % from last year.  He was among the league leaders in terms of the % of his catches for a 1st down.

Uh, he only caught 13 passes last year? That is a useless stat for someone with such little playing time.
